The legendary digital mixer is back - now with a 96 kHz XCVI core for DEEP processing. It also delivers more channels with totally flexible patching across four customizable layers, a completely redesigned user interface, important hardware upgrades, expanded connectivity and Dante options across every model in the range.
The QU-6 now features Allen & Heath's powerful XCVI processing, new FX engines and Everything I/O connections. It also gains a larger capacitive touchscreen, channel-strip displays, customizable layers and extra SoftKeys. The QU-6D variant includes a built-in 16x16 48/96 kHz Dante port for collaboration with other Dante-enabled devices. Both the QU-6 and the QU-6D are rack-mountable 32-channel digital mixers at 96 kHz that combine powerful audio processing and professional features with easy operation and practical control.
Completely New Hardware
The new Qu retains the popular design and shape of the original Qu series but introduces several hardware improvements that enhance sound quality and the mixing experience.
Audio
Updated microphone preamps and powerful 96 kHz AD/DA converters work together to deliver crystal-clear sound to and from the XCVI core, preserving every detail of the source.
Control
Each channel now features a channel display showing the channel name, channel type or connection number, plus a chromatic channel meter for at-a-glance level information. The new touchscreen offers a completely redesigned user interface.
Dante-Enabled
The QU-6D provides a 16x16 Dante interface at 96 kHz or 48 kHz for integration into larger systems or installations.

Every Qu model offers a wealth of recording and playback options, with an integrated 32x32 USB-C audio interface, 32-channel multitrack support via SD card and simple stereo recording and playback via the USB-A port, whatever your plans.
Improved Workflow
The original Qu series was hugely popular for its simple, fast operation and was the perfect mixer for engineers moving from the analogue world. The new Qu series goes even further while keeping the "walk up and mix" philosophy at its heart. In addition to classic 1:1 Qu routing options, it offers four fully customisable layers, more assignable SoftKeys to optimise your workflow and flexible routing options — all accessible through a newly developed, fast and responsive user interface.
SLink
Compatible with Everything I/O
Thanks to the SLink connector, Qu can be linked with the rack and stagebox extensions from the Everything I/O family, making it a flexible mix-and-match solution for anyone who already uses other Allen & Heath digital systems. It can even connect directly to other Allen & Heath consoles, offering up to 128x128 channels at 96 kHz for patching.
DEEP Processing
Qu is now DEEP Processing-capable, bringing proven add-ons from the flagship dLive system to the Qu platform for the first time. Qu also includes the feedback and gain assistants from the CQ series, which simplify setup and speed up your soundchecks.
Gain Assistant
Setting gain for each individual channel can be time-consuming, especially when you have many channels to manage. Qu's Gain Assistant streamlines this process by quickly and accurately establishing the ideal gain level for one or multiple input channels while continuously monitoring levels during performance to avoid unwanted peaks or surprises.
Feedback Assistant
Qu's user-friendly Feedback Assistant automatically detects and removes troublesome frequencies with up to 16 filters per output, so you can mix with confidence and stop worrying about feedback.
AMM Automatic Mic Mixer
Qu's automatic 32-channel microphone mixer (AMM) is the perfect choice for conferences, panel discussions and TV shows. It's fully integrated into the console with no added latency, so you don't need to route audio to an internal DSP rack or an external plugin system.
