16-Channel Mixing Consoles With Lexicon Effects Unit!
At an affordable price the console delivers high quality and an intuitive control surface. The components used have tight tolerances, allowing precise tuning—especially important for the preamps and EQ.
The Soundcraft EFX 12 provides 12 mono and 2 stereo channels. For the first time in this price range the GB30 preamp design—also used in the GB series consoles—is employed. These preamps are extremely overload resistant. They offer a gain range of 55 dB and provide +22 dB of headroom. A phantom power supply delivers a true +48 V to condenser microphones of any type.
The Lexicon effects section features a high-quality 24-bit processor — in fact the same Audio DNA processor used in the Lexicon MX400. 32 effect presets are available. Users can tweak and save them across three parameters. A mute function, PFL (pre-fade listen) capability and the tap-delay feature expand the unit's versatility.
A 3-band EQ with sweepable mids, two aux buses, insert jacks for channels and the main mix, a 10-segment LED meter, 1/4" jacks (Neutrik) and professional XLR connectors complete the comprehensive feature set.
A switched-mode power supply is integrated. The mains inlet is positioned so that rack mounting requires no extra rack space.
