12-Channel Mixer with Lexicon Effects Unit!
For an affordable price, this mixer offers high quality and an easy-to-use interface. The components used have tight tolerances, enabling precise tuning—especially important for the preamp and equalizer.
The Soundcraft EFX 8 features 8 mono and 2 stereo channels. For the first time in this price range, the GB30 preamp design is used, which is also found in the GB series mixers. These preamps are extremely overload resistant, offering a control range of 55 dB and providing +22 dB headroom. Phantom power supplies condenser microphones of any type with true +48 volts.
The Lexicon effects section is equipped with a high-quality 24-bit processor—the same Audio DNA processor used in the Lexicon MX400. 32 effect presets are available, which users can modify and save with three adjustable parameters. A mute function, PFL (pre-fade listen), and TAP delay feature optimize usability.
A 3-band equalizer with sweepable mids, two aux buses, insert jacks for channels and master, a 10-segment LED meter, 1/4" jacks (Neutrik), and professional XLR connectors complete the extensive feature set.
An internal switching power supply is integrated. The power cable socket is positioned so that no additional rack units need to be considered during rack mounting.
The Soundcraft EFX 8 is suitable for live sound reinforcement, fixed installations, and recording applications!
