The Pronomic M-802 mixer offers eight analog input channels in a compact and clear layout. Four mono channels with combo XLR/jack inputs accept microphone and line signals. External Effects And Stereo Return
Each input channel has a post-fader FX send. An external effects unit can be driven via the separate FX output. The processed signal is returned via the stereo aux return and dosed with its own level control. This architecture suits reverb, delay or other external signal processors. Because the send sits after the channel level control, the relation between dry signal and effect remains musically consistent even when you change levels.
Comprehensive Output And Monitoring Section
The M-802 features a Main Out, a Control Room output and a dedicated headphone output. CD/Tape In and Out are provided as phono connectors. The CD/Tape input can be assigned to the Main Mix or the Phones/CTRL path. Separate controls manage the Main Mix and monitoring level. A four-segment LED meter visualizes the output signal. Switchable 48 V phantom power with status LED is available for suitable condenser microphones.

Because musicians are not always 'the most careful people in the world', I chose a cheap mixer for this. But the quality is great! Low noise, good frequency response etc. The only thing that is missing is an on/off switch, to switch it off you simply have to pull the plug... An other minor criticism is the Pan ('Balance') control. This one is mainly: left-mid-mid-mid-mid-right! It is difficult to place a source left/mid or right/mid. But apart from this the mixer works fine!
