Optimal Feedback Protection
The supercardioid pattern of the DM-58-B ensures optimal feedback reduction when using stage monitors. The least sensitive direction (off-axis) is not directly behind like with cardioid mics but about 120° off the speaking direction (on-axis). This perfectly mutes monitors.
What Can I Connect the DM-58-B To?
As a dynamic microphone, the DM-58-B can be connected to any microphone input on mixers, active speaker boxes, audio interfaces, and other amplifiers. 48V phantom power is NOT required but does not harm the microphone. The microphone is not suitable for direct connection to a computer. A USB interface is required for that.

I was not disappointed with this mic and it is very good for that. Also because it really doesn't cost much and the price/performance ratio is top.
