Powerful, Warm Tone
The DM-58-B features an extended frequency response in the bass range, delivering a powerful and warm voice. The good transient response places vocals and speech clearly in the mix, and the integrated pop filter in the grille minimizes plosives (P, B, T, etc.) and wind noise in advance, often eliminating the need for a high-pass filter.
Optimal Feedback Protection
The supercardioid pattern of the DM-58-B ensures optimal feedback reduction when using stage monitors. The least sensitive direction (off-axis) is not directly behind as with a cardioid, but about 120° outside the on-axis speaking direction. This perfectly mutes monitors.
What Can I Connect the DM-58-B To?
As a dynamic microphone, the DM-58-B can be connected to any microphone input of mixers, active speaker boxes, audio interfaces, and other amplifiers. A 48V phantom power supply is NOT required but does not harm the microphone. The microphone is not suitable for direct connection to a computer; a USB interface is necessary for that.

Hello, quick question. In the datasheet a 360° view is shown. Does it matter how around you hold the microphone to the mouth or should e.g. the on / off switch point away from the mouth.

The microphone works optimally when you speak into the front of the microphone basket at a distance of max. 5 cm. It does not matter how the microphone is rotated around its own axis. Of course, it is a good idea to place the microphone in the stand so that the on/off switch is within easy reach.
