Pronomic MCM-100 Instrumental Microphone - there's a lot of microphone inside!

It does not matter what instrument you clamp the MCM-100 to - it always makes for a great look and great sound. With its flexible 13.5 cm gooseneck, the microphone can be put in an optimal position. The optional holders and clips stay in place without damaging the instrument. Thanks to the very small capsule with foam covering and the slender gooseneck, this microphone is always discreet.

First-Class

Thanks to the high-quality, vibration-neutral capsule, the MCM-100 captures the natural sound of your instrument without distorting it. The directional characteristics ensure that other sound sources are minimized, and a clean sound is produced.

Easy to use

The XLR phantom power adapter is connected by a screw cap, preventing crackling sounds and accidental disconnection. The long cable (2 m) allows for maximum freedom of movement.

Well-stored

For the safe transport of the MCM-100, there is a system case included, protecting your microphone from dust, dirt and damage. The spaces for additional holders are already in the case allowing you to store all your holders in one place.

Attach, clip, and go!

The Pronomic instrument holder is simply and securely mounted on the instrument using a screw clamp. The soft rubber pads ensure a stable contact with the instrument without leaving even a scratch behind. Simply place the corresponding Pronomic MCM-100 microphone into the holder - done! No tools are required for mounting.

Of course, the MCH-100V can also be used for other instruments, such as the viola, mandolin, and banjo.

A clip microphone set with holder at an unbeatable price!

Are very satisfied with the sound of the microphone. Quick and easy installation. Especially the isolated storage of the microphone I find super, because almost no ambient noise of the violin body are no longer audible. The supplied case is also practical, it's just a pity that the violin holder is packed separately. Or you cut out the recess for the holder in the foam of the case. Overall, I will recommend the microphone to any musician.

Your question about the article Pronomic MCH-100V instrumental microphone SET for violin and similar instruments

Your question will be forwarded directly to the department and answered as soon as possible.

Question by Andreas Höch on 01.10.2019

How heavy is the microphone (without mount)?
Which cable do I need to connect to the usual (guitar) PA (input 6.2mm jack)?
Do I need a preamplifier for it?
Thanks for an answer,
Andreas Höch

Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:

Since this is a condenser microphone, 48 volt phantom power from a mixing console is required. The plug must necessarily be an XLR (3-pin) microphone plug. The microphone itself weighs about 28 grams.
