150 Watt Fresnel fixture with 3,000 Kelvin and barn door!
With the KL series, Elation introduces high-quality Fresnel lenses based on LED technology. The abbreviation KL stands for Key Light, as the Fresnel fixtures — equipped with a high-quality LED engine — deliver a stable color temperature of either 3,000 or 5,600 Kelvin and a color rendering index of up to 97, combining all the qualities required for key lighting.
The models in the KL series offer comparable professional features, such as a continuous zoom in the range of approximately 11–57° (varies by model). The zoom range on the KL Fresnel 4" and KL Fresnel 6" variants can be adjusted manually on the unit. The KL series' professional credentials are underlined by an absolutely homogeneous 16-bit dimming. Optionally, the user can adapt dimmer mode, dimmer curve and dimmer delay depending on the application. In addition, the pulse-width modulation frequency is user-selectable so that all devices in the KL series can optionally be matched to TV cameras.
All units feature 5-pin XLR connectors for the DMX signal; the KL Fresnel 6 and KL Fresnel 8 variants additionally have 3-pin XLR connectors. Power is supplied flexibly via powerIP input and output. All settings can be made via the LC display's user-friendly menu. An 8-leaf barn door and a color frame are included with all eight models.
