Excellent Sound and High-Quality Craftsmanship
With 320 watts (peak), the CLS-880 coaxial in-ceiling speaker offers more than enough volume to easily fill larger rooms with sound. Thanks to its good frequency response, the 2-way speaker is also excellent as a HiFi speaker in the home living room. The durable, woven 8" (203 mm) woven membrane and a 0.75" (19 mm) titanium dome tweeter enable excellent signal resolution with assertive and brilliant sound reproduction. Additionally, woven membranes withstand high continuous loads for a long time and deliver tight, impulse-accurate bass. To adapt the speaker’s sound to the respective room conditions, the tweeter features an equalizer (-3 dB, 0, +3 dB). To ensure the speaker sounds balanced and natural, a true crossover circuit is installed. The CLS-880 can be connected to all conventional HiFi devices via the screw terminals.
Compact Housing and Versatile Mounting Options
For easy and comfortable installation, the HiFi speaker is already equipped with the necessary quick locks/mounting clips and screws. The clips are especially practical because tightening the screws presses them against the installation surface, creating particularly stable hold. To make cutting the mounting hole a breeze, a template for marking is included. To ensure an unobtrusive overall appearance and protection against foreign objects, the CLS-880 features a frameless, magnetic protective grille.
