Magvel Fader Pro

Pioneer DJ has enhanced the feel of the Magvel Fader Pro and increased the vertical stability of the button shaft by 30 percent, letting you scratch even more freely.

Large Performance Pads

The 8 large performance pads on each channel are easy to hit when you want to quickly trigger hot cues and samples. Thanks to independent pad modes, you can use 2 different functions simultaneously—one on each channel set.

Large Effect Levers

Manipulate sounds in real time by adding effects with the large levers. The DJM-S7 includes all 22 built-in Beat FX from the DJM-S11, enabling creative work, plus software effects in Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. The 6 effects assigned to the FX Select buttons can be easily changed, and you can keep track of the active effect’s name and beat value on the OLED display.

Bluetooth® Input: Expand Your Performances with Wireless Audio from Your Phone

Simply pair your phone via Bluetooth® with the DJM-S7 and you can play tracks directly in your set. Use loops for scratch overs or a music app to spin a requested track from someone in the crowd. Or just use your phone as a backup if your laptop fails. You can output the sound directly through the master output or one of the channels.

Loop MIDI: Automated Control of DJ Software Functions with the Effect Levers

This feature in the DJM-S7’s effect section can control various functions of your DJ software by repeatedly sending a MIDI signal to the software in a set beat cycle. Functions like hot cue, sampler, and key shift are preset on the FX Select buttons, so you can use Loop MIDI immediately without assigning functions first.

Loop MIDI: Pattern A

You can create a build-up by gradually shortening the beat cycle of a looped snare sample.

Loop MIDI: Pattern B

You can also raise or lower the key of the track on deck 1 or 2, activate sampler slot 1 or hot cue 1 / A, or mute the deck.

Individually Adjustable Torque

In the PLX-CRSS12 settings, you can easily adjust the turntable’s rotation torque to your preferences. Choose "High" for quick start when pressing PLAY, "Low" for the traditional torque familiar to many DJs, and "Mid" for a balanced mix of both.

This lets you set the torque according to your personal style and individual needs.

Adjustable Stop Speed

Use the switch on the front of the turntable to set the time it takes for the platter to stop when you press the STOP button. The "Min" position causes a quick and sharp brake. The "Mid" position corresponds to the traditional stop speed familiar to many DJs.

The "Max" position produces the longest stop speed for a gradual and dramatic track or performance ending. This way, you can tailor the turntable’s stopping exactly to your wishes and desired effect.

Performance Pads for Precise & Fast Control

The PLX-CRSS12 incorporates classic elements of turntable layout, but a new addition is the 4 integrated MIDI-mappable performance pads that put your favorite functions right at hand. They’re located exactly where you need them—just below the platter—so you can trigger hot cues and samples faster than ever.

This is especially handy when DJing on a mixer without pads. There’s native support for various pad modes (see below) and a dedicated button lets you switch pad control from 1–4 to 5–8. The pads are also MIDI-mappable, so you can assign them to other functions.

When you connect the PLX-CRSS12 to your PC/Mac via USB and run DJ software, you can access BPM, key, and deck number information.

A switching power supply is used to eliminate vibrations and interference and suppress unwanted noise, resulting in high-resolution sound quality.

Like the PLX-1000, the upper part of the chassis is made of high-quality, cast zinc with high mass, while the lower part consists of 8 mm thick resin.
