Works Even in the Rain
The IP56 rating indicates the suitability of the McGrey OLS-5251 for outdoor use. The so-called IP code (International Protection Code) describes how an electronic device performs under certain temperatures, humidity, vapors, dust and other conditions. An IP56 rating means the OLS-5251 is protected against powerful water jets and the enclosure also provides full protection against contact. Furthermore, this device is impervious to dust, even in quantities that would normally cause damage.
70/100V Option
The OLS-5251 outdoor enclosure can be connected to all conventional HiFi and PA amplifiers; additionally, the speaker can be operated on 70 or 100 V distributed systems. The required power tap is set via a rotary control.
Robust Wall Speaker
The mounting bracket allows the McGrey enclosure to be easily attached to a wall. The speaker is designed to swivel 90° vertically and 170° horizontally. The OLS-5251 therefore offers maximum flexibility. At the same time, the speaker is rugged and built to be a long-term musical companion. The bracket and grille are made of aluminum, while the enclosure is manufactured from durable plastic.

The McGrey OLS speaker is available not only in black and white: it also comes in two different sizes (5.25" and 6.5" woofers) with various power ratings.
