Works Even in Rain
The IP56 rating denotes the McGrey OLS-651's suitability for outdoor use. The so-called IP code (International Protection Code) specifies an electronic device's resistance to certain temperatures, humidity, vapors, dust and other conditions. The IP56 rating means the OLS-651 is protected against strong jetting water and that the enclosure also provides full protection against contact. Furthermore, dust—even amounts that would normally cause damage—cannot affect this unit.
70/100V Option
The OLS-651 outdoor box can be connected to any conventional HiFi and PA amplifiers; additionally there is the option to operate the speaker on distributed 70 or 100-volt public address systems. The required power is set using a rotary control.
Rugged Wall-Mount Speaker
The McGrey cabinet can be easily mounted to the wall using the mounting bracket. The speaker is designed to rotate 90° vertically and 170° horizontally, offering maximum flexibility. At the same time the speaker is robust and becomes a long-term musical companion. The mounting bracket and grille are made of aluminum, while the enclosure is constructed from durable plastic.
Available in Two Sizes
The McGrey OLS speaker is available not only in black and white: two different sizes (5.25" and 6.5" woofer) with different power ratings are also offered.
