The Yamaha R-N2000A is a premium stereo network receiver that blends top-tier hi-fi technology with modern music streaming and timeless design. With an output of 2 x 90 watts into 8 ohms or 2 x 145 watts into 4 ohms, a powerful toroidal transformer and the ESS SABRE ES9026PRO Ultra DAC, the network amplifier delivers impressively dynamic, precise and finely detailed playback. The automatic YPAO R.S.C. room correction tailors the sound to your individual listening environment. MusicCast Multiroom, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, HDMI ARC and high-resolution USB audio playback make the Yamaha R-N2000A the versatile control center of a demanding stereo system. Two classic illuminated level meters underline the exclusive character of this premium hi-fi receiver.

Powerful Stereo Amplifier With Toroidal Transformer

The heart of the Yamaha R-N2000A is a high-quality, fully symmetrical power amplifier built around a floating circuit design. A powerful toroidal transformer ensures stable power delivery and supports the dynamic reproduction of demanding recordings. The symmetrical arrangement of the amplifier stages provides excellent channel separation and reduces unwanted interference. A 3 mm thick brass plate under the transformer lessens mechanical vibrations. The elaborate mechanical base concept, an especially rigid chassis and massive brass feet support controlled bass performance and precise spatial imaging. With Yamaha's ToP-ART technology and Pure Direct mode, the receiver delivers exceptionally transparent music reproduction.

YPAO R.S.C. For Optimal Room Acoustics

Using Yamaha's Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO), the R-N2000A automatically adapts to the acoustic properties of your listening room. The supplied calibration microphone analyzes speaker positions and the room's characteristics. YPAO R.S.C. (Reflected Sound Control) also accounts for early sound reflections that can affect the sound image. A highly precise equalizer with an internal resolution of up to 192 kHz and 64-bit enables detailed tonal adjustment. The result is balanced playback with clear instrument separation, tight bass and a natural stereo soundstage.

ESS SABRE Ultra DAC For High-Resolution Audio

The integrated ESS SABRE ES9026PRO Ultra DAC handles the high-quality digital-to-analog conversion and ensures transparent, finely resolved playback. Via the asynchronous USB-B port, the receiver can be used as an external USB-DAC with a compatible computer. It supports PCM audio up to 384 kHz / 32-bit and native DSD up to 11.2 MHz. A high-precision clock supports stable digital signal processing. This makes the Yamaha R-N2000A ideally suited for demanding Hi-Res recordings and high-quality digital music libraries.

MusicCast Multiroom and Wireless Streaming

With the integrated Yamaha MusicCast system, the R-N2000A becomes a powerful network player and streaming amplifier. Over Wi-Fi or Ethernet you can access compatible streaming services like Spotify and Amazon Music HD, internet radio and your personal music collection on PC or NAS. Apple AirPlay 2 enables easy streaming from compatible Apple devices, while Bluetooth offers a flexible wireless audio connection to smartphones and tablets. The MusicCast Controller app lets you control playback conveniently and link other compatible MusicCast devices into a multiroom audio system. The receiver supports many audio formats, including MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF and DSD.

HDMI ARC For Superior TV Sound

The built-in HDMI ARC port allows a simple connection to a compatible TV, so you can enjoy movies, series, concerts and broadcasts through your high-quality stereo speakers. HDMI-CEC support enables compatible control functions via the connected TV. In addition to HDMI ARC, two optical and one coaxial digital input are available for extra audio sources. The Yamaha R-N2000A therefore combines premium music reproduction with versatile options for everyday entertainment.

Classic Hi-Fi Connections For Vinyl and CD

Traditional audio sources also have their place on the Yamaha R-N2000A. The built-in Phono MM input allows direct connection of a suitable turntable, while a CD input and two additional analog line inputs are available for other hi-fi components. External power amps can be connected via the stereo pre-out, and the subwoofer output allows adding an active subwoofer. Two separately switchable speaker groups A/B and solid brass speaker terminals provide extra flexibility when configuring your stereo system.

Classic Design With Illuminated VU Meters

The elegant look of the Yamaha R-N2000A draws on the manufacturer's long hi-fi tradition. Two illuminated analog level meters deliver an authentic vintage hi-fi vibe and show the dynamics of playback. A high-resolution display provides information on the selected source and playback data. High-quality controls and separate knobs for bass, treble, balance and loudness make sound adjustment comfortable. With its robust construction, comprehensive feature set and precise audio engineering, the Yamaha R-N2000A is a demanding high-end stereo receiver for anyone who wants to experience music intensely and authentically.
