MusicCast Multiroom, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, HDMI ARC and an integrated DAB/DAB+ radio tuner make the Yamaha R-N1000A the versatile control center for your stereo system. Whether high-resolution music files, streaming services, vinyl records or TV audio — this network receiver blends classic HiFi quality with modern ease of use.

Powerful Stereo Amplifier with ToP-ART Technology

With 100 watts output per channel at 8 ohms, the Yamaha R-N1000A offers convincing headroom for dynamic stereo playback. The proven ToP-ART technology (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) combines a symmetrical circuit layout with short signal paths and an especially rigid chassis. Specially designed transformers, high-quality audio capacitors, a vibration-damping double-bottom construction and anti-resonance feet support precise sound reproduction. The Pure Direct mode enables particularly uncoloured signal processing, while gold-plated speaker terminals made of solid brass ensure a reliable connection to your speakers.

YPAO Room Correction for Optimal Sound

The built-in Yamaha YPAO technology (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer) automatically adapts the receiver to the acoustic characteristics of your listening room. Using the supplied measurement microphone, the system analyzes speaker placement and listening distance, among other factors. YPAO R.S.C. (Reflected Sound Control) also takes early sound reflections into account. A high-precision equalizer with an internal resolution of up to 192 kHz and 64-bit optimizes playback. The result is a well-defined soundstage with clear instrument separation and a harmonious tonal balance.

High-Resolution Audio with ESS SABRE DAC

For premium digital-to-analog conversion, the Yamaha R-N1000A uses the ESS SABRE ES9080Q DAC at 384 kHz and 32 bit. The integrated USB-DAC enables a direct connection to a computer via USB-B and supports high-resolution PCM audio up to 384 kHz as well as native DSD playback at 11.2 MHz. This lets you enjoy demanding hi-res recordings in full detail. Additionally, two optical and one coaxial digital input are available for external audio sources.

MusicCast Multiroom and Wireless Music Streaming

With Yamaha MusicCast the R-N1000A becomes a versatile network player and streaming amplifier. Over Wi-Fi or Ethernet you can play music from compatible network devices, internet radio stations and supported streaming services like Spotify and Amazon Music HD. Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth allow convenient wireless audio streaming from compatible smartphones, tablets and computers. The MusicCast Controller App lets you control your music easily and link the receiver with other MusicCast devices to build a multiroom audio system. Support for high-resolution formats such as FLAC, WAV, AIFF and DSD expands the options for discerning listeners.

HDMI ARC for High-Quality TV Sound

Thanks to HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel), the Yamaha R-N1000A can be easily connected to a compatible TV. TV audio is played back through the stereo amplifier and your connected HiFi speakers. Films, series, concerts and broadcasts all benefit from the receiver's high-quality stereo audio performance. This connection makes the R-N1000A an attractive solution for those who want to use their hi-fi system for premium TV sound as well.

Analog Connections for Classic HiFi Components

In addition to modern digital sources, the Yamaha R-N1000A also supports classic audio gear. A dedicated phono input allows you to connect a suitable turntable, while additional analog line inputs are available for a CD player and other sources. The subwoofer output lets you add an active subwoofer. Stereo pre-out, a headphone jack and independently switchable speaker terminals A/B increase flexibility when configuring your personal hi-fi system.

Digital Radio and Versatile Operation

The integrated DAB/DAB+ and FM tuner provides access to numerous radio stations. Up to 40 presets are available for DAB/DAB+. Operation can be performed directly on the unit, via the supplied remote control or through the MusicCast Controller App. With its timeless HiFi design, robust construction and comprehensive feature set, the Yamaha R-N1000A is a powerful stereo receiver for discerning music lovers who want high-quality sound, modern connectivity and classic hi-fi functions in a single device.
