Powerful Stereo Amplifier with Toroidal Transformer

At the heart of the Yamaha R-N2000A is a premium, fully balanced power amplifier with a floating circuit design. A powerful toroidal transformer provides a stable power supply and supports the dynamic playback of demanding music recordings. The symmetrical arrangement of the amplifier stages delivers excellent channel separation and reduces unwanted interference. A 3 mm-thick brass plate beneath the transformer minimizes mechanical vibrations. The elaborate mechanical base design, an exceptionally rigid chassis, and solid brass feet help deliver controlled bass and precise spatial imaging. Yamaha ToP-ART technology and Pure Direct mode ensure an especially faithful music listening experience.

YPAO R.S.C. for Optimal Room Acoustics

With Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO), the R-N2000A automatically adapts to your listening room’s acoustic properties. The included calibration microphone analyzes speaker positions and room conditions. YPAO R.S.C. (Reflected Sound Control) also takes early sound reflections into account, as they can affect the soundstage. A high-precision equalizer with internal resolution of up to 192 kHz and 64-bit processing enables finely tuned sound adjustment. Enjoy balanced playback with clear instrument separation, precise bass, and a natural stereo soundstage.

ESS SABRE Ultra DAC for High-Resolution Audio

The integrated ESS SABRE ES9026PRO Ultra DAC handles high-quality digital-to-analog conversion for transparent, finely detailed music playback. The asynchronous USB-B port lets you use the receiver as an external USB DAC with a compatible computer. It supports PCM audio up to 384 kHz and 32-bit, as well as native DSD up to 11.2 MHz. A high-precision clock supports stable digital signal processing. This makes the Yamaha R-N2000A an excellent choice for demanding Hi-Res Audio recordings and high-quality digital music libraries.

MusicCast Multiroom and Wireless Streaming

With Yamaha MusicCast built in, the R-N2000A becomes a powerful network player and streaming amplifier. Connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet to compatible streaming services such as Spotify and Amazon Music HD, internet radio, and your personal music collection on a PC or NAS. Apple AirPlay 2 makes it easy to stream music from compatible Apple devices, while Bluetooth provides a flexible wireless audio connection to smartphones and tablets. The MusicCast Controller app lets you conveniently control playback and connect other compatible MusicCast devices to create a multiroom audio system. The receiver supports numerous audio formats, including MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, and DSD.

HDMI ARC for First-Class TV Sound

The built-in HDMI ARC port makes it easy to connect a compatible TV. Enjoy movies, series, concerts, and TV programs through your high-quality stereo speakers. HDMI-CEC support lets you use compatible control functions via the connected TV. In addition to HDMI ARC, two optical and one coaxial digital input are available for connecting additional audio sources. The Yamaha R-N2000A combines high-quality music listening with versatile options for everyday entertainment.

Classic Hi-Fi Connections for Vinyl and CD

Classic audio sources also have a place on the Yamaha R-N2000A. The built-in phono MM input lets you connect a compatible turntable directly, while a CD input and two additional analog line inputs are ready for other Hi-Fi components. Connect external power amplifiers via the stereo pre-out, and add a powered subwoofer via the subwoofer output. Two separately switchable speaker groups, A/B, and high-quality solid brass speaker terminals provide extra flexibility when setting up your stereo system.

Classic Design with Illuminated VU Meters

The elegant Yamaha R-N2000A takes its design cues from the manufacturer’s rich Hi-Fi heritage. Two illuminated analog level meters evoke the authentic feel of vintage Hi-Fi and display the dynamics of the music. A high-resolution display shows the selected source and other playback information. High-quality controls, along with separate bass, treble, balance, and loudness knobs, make it easy to fine-tune the sound. With its robust construction, extensive features, and precise audio technology, the Yamaha R-N2000A is a premium high-end stereo receiver for anyone who wants to experience music with depth and authenticity.
