Flight DUS371 Mahogany Soprano Ukulele Including Gigbag!

Ki'i Pohaku (literally "Pictures in Stone") are petroglyphs carved by ancient Hawaiians into lava rock. It is believed these strange carvings served to mark important events, document journeys, and trace family lineage. Flight decided to honor Ki'i Pohaku by integrating them into the laser-cut rosette design on a high-quality laminated soprano ukulele.

Body

The DUS371 is made from laminated mahogany. Mahogany is a hardwood that has been used for centuries to craft premium musical instruments. Its color can vary widely, from a pale pinkish brown to a darker reddish brown, and it tends to darken with age. However, don’t be fooled by the “plain” look of mahogany wood—mahogany ukuleles can really resonate beautifully!

Neck and Fretboard

The neck and fretboard of the DUS371 are crafted from African Okoume and walnut. This excellent combination guarantees stable intonation across the entire fretboard, feels comfortable on your hands, and looks great too.
