Flight DUS371 Mahogany Soprano Ukulele Including Gigbag!
Ki'i Pohaku (literally "Pictures in Stone") are petroglyphs carved into lava rock by the ancient Hawaiians. It is believed these strange carvings served to mark important events, document journeys, and trace family lineage. Flight decided to honor Ki'i Pohaku by incorporating them into the laser-cut rosette design on a high-quality laminated soprano ukulele.
Body
The DUS371 is crafted from laminated mahogany. Mahogany is a hardwood that has been used for centuries to make premium musical instruments. Its color can vary widely, from a pale pinkish brown to a darker reddish brown, and it tends to darken with age. But don’t be fooled by the "plain" look of mahogany wood—mahogany ukuleles can really resonate beautifully!
Neck and Fretboard
The neck and fretboard of the DUS371 are made from African Okoume and walnut. This excellent combination guarantees stable intonation across the entire fretboard, is gentle on your hands, and looks great too.
