Ortega RUEB-CC Concert Ukulele Ebony

The ukulele, unfortunately, only at first glance cleanly processed, revealed various production-related defects, some of which can not be corrected. A sharp-edged top saddle, drying-related sharp edges on the bridge and especially on the fretting can still be worked on yourself, but a factory incorrect, so not centered, fret marker dot on the edge of the neck is not really great to look at and just looks quickly and cheaply made.
The sound was o.k. Have Ortega in the "Ü-100€ class" already trusted something more and have them first retouniert.

everything is in perfect condition, undamaged and shipped before christmas.

Delivery was made even to the festival campsite :) stable sound :)

I have been playing guitar for about 7 years, this is now my first ukulele. So I can't compare it to others. But it is fun to play on it. It feels good, but is a little rough in some places. The body had one/two pressure marks as well as unsightly stains in the wood. The fretboard had fibers coming loose from the wood and the fret sticks are a little sharp. The tuners are easy to operate, but one plastic cover looked very damaged already. I will still keep it, even if it is annoying at a price of 120 euros. I must say, however, that I have no reference and can therefore say whether this is normal in this price category. Very positive to mention is the supplied bag, which makes a high-quality impression.

The Ortega RFU11ZE ukulele is a visually very beautiful and well-made instrument with an excellent sound, which is really fun to play. It was delivered quickly and well packaged. I can only recommend.
