The Epiphone Blues King Studio is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely redesigned to offer the most authentic and affordable acoustic guitars inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The Blues King Studio delivers an appealing blend of vintage charm and modern craftsmanship and is engineered to produce a soulful, resonant tone that's perfect for blues and folk enthusiasts.

Based on the classic Gibson parlor acoustics, the Blues King Studio, with its smaller parlor body and shorter 24.75" scale, is an excellent choice as a first guitar for younger players and a solid option for players of smaller stature. Its bluesy voice is ideal for fingerstyle, blues, folk, Americana and other traditional styles. The Blues King Studio features a multi-ply mahogany body in the L-00 style with single-layer cream binding on the top and back, and a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that only improves with age.

The mahogany neck is set into the body with a glued, tapered dovetail joint and features a comfortable, rounded C profile. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard with 19 standard frets and simple pearloid dot inlays. The strings are guided over a compensated plastic nut and anchored with ivory-colored bridge pins on the rectangular rosewood bridge.

Epiphone also added other details that give the Blues King Studio extra vintage flair, including an L-00-shaped dark tortoiseshell pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory plastic buttons, and a '60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo proudly rendered in gold silk-screen.

The Blues King Studio is fitted with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that give the player quick, easy access while remaining nearly invisible to the audience. The Epiphone Blues King Studio sports a gloss finish and is available in two vintage colors: Ebony and Dark Burst. A standard gigbag is also included.
