What's So Bad About Fluorescent Tubes?
Fluorescent tubes, commonly also known as neon tubes, are found almost everywhere in our daily environment today, such as offices, warehouses, workshops, etc. Of course they offer an advantage over conventional incandescent lamps. But unfortunately there are also downsides, such as high electricity costs and long switch-on times until the corresponding light output is reached.
On top of that, they are filled with environmentally harmful gases and mercury, which makes disposal cumbersome. Regular replacement intervals also lead to additional maintenance costs.
That's Why Showlite LED Fluorescent Tubes Are the Better Choice!
Showlite LEDs light up without startup delay. They are insensitive to frequent switching on and off. Flickering and the slow ramp-up typical of conventional fluorescent tubes are eliminated with Showlite LED tubes.
Due to the extremely long service life of more than 50,000 hours, the replacement interval is reduced and maintenance costs drop significantly. It also benefits the environment, since the service life is far beyond that of conventional fluorescent tubes. The uniformly bright, flicker- and glare-free light does not cause signs of fatigue even after prolonged use.
New Energy Label 2021
Since September 2021 the new energy label has also applied to lamps, which now does without classes like "A+++" and instead ranges from "A" to "G". It should be noted that no current device achieves the classes "A" or "B". With a view to the future, new classifications were deliberately introduced here that should still be practical in 10 years' time.
This means that devices with an energy efficiency class "F" are comparable to the old class "A+". Of course, the devices' energy consumption has not increased as a result.
Easy to Replace Existing Fluorescent Tubes!
Each tube is supplied with an LED starter, so installation in standard fixtures is straightforward. During installation you only need to replace the existing starter with the supplied starter. Installation instructions are included.
