The Player II Stratocaster HSS pairs the world-famous Fender design with thoroughly modern features. Every detail is optimized for smooth playability. The neck sports a modern C profile with a silky satin urethane back finish and a maple or slab rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The body is available in classic alder, chambered ash or chambered mahogany. Finish options range from the beloved classic Fender finishes to new vintage hues pulled fresh from the archive.
Glassy, bell-like Player Series Alnico V Strat single-coils and a punchy, focused Player Series Alnico II bridge humbucker deliver clear highs, musical mids and tight lows. The 5-way switch lets you dial in countless combinations and wide tonal variety. Strings run over a synchronized 2-point tremolo bridge. Fender ClassicGear tuners keep your instrument in tune.
