The Player II Stratocaster HSS embodies timeless Fender charm with its world-famous design, but under the hood, it’s state-of-the-art. Every detail is crafted for smooth playability. The neck features a modern C-profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back and a maple or rosewood slab fretboard with a 9.5" radius, gently rounded edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets. The body comes in classic alder, chambered ash, or chambered mahogany. For the finish, you can choose between popular timeless Fender finishes and brand-new vintage colors freshly pulled from the archive.
Glassy, bell-like Player Series Alnico V Strat single-coils and a punchy Player Series Alnico II bridge humbucker deliver crystal-clear highs, musical mids, and crisp lows. The 5-way switch lets you create different combinations with practically endless tonal variety. Strings run over a synchronized 2-point tremolo bridge. ClassicGear tuners keep your tuning stable.
