The amplifier has more oomph than needed, even if it would never be used outside a rehearsal room (it starts to distort well before level 11). The bass is relatively small, but after a brief protest, my offspring (165 cm) got used to it and now finds the size very comfortable.

This bass is a short scale bass. Actually, adults are recommended to play a "normal" electric bass.
However, I find the length totally super and feel comfortable with it, because with about 174cm I'm not the longest myself.
The delivery was on time, as indicated in the order summary. All products were original packaging and intact.

In this set I particularly like that an electric bass of a well-known manufacturer, as well as an instrument school are included.
The instrument school was apparently commissioned by the music house Kirstein itself. Included is information on sheet music, tablature, fingering systems, music theory, exercises and songs including playalongs, as well as instructional videos for all points in the video.
At this point it should be said that the school does not teach children's songs, but songs and licks that are really cool. For example, there are simple blues in various keys, walking basslines, songs (House of the Rising Sun), various licks (eg of Metallica) and much more.
The exercises and songs build on each other and, thanks to the great backing tracks, make you want to just keep playing.

This is the first time I have ordered from Musikhaus Kirstein. Previously I bought exclusively from Thomann, but got tired of the only attractive offers being limited to Harley Benton products.
The ordering process was super easy, the product support answered all my questions on the phone in advance and tried to advise me about the length ;-), All in all I am very satisfied...
BUT I would like to see that either the web server is pimped so that the videos can be streamed without eternal buffering and / or you can download the material somehow and use offline. Then gives gladly also the 5th star from me :-)
As I said, I'm satisfied overall and have so far a lot of fun with the set... could not stop playing the blues yesterday!
