Getting Started Is Easy!
This motto also applies to Michael Christoph's bass school. If you're worried that electric bass is too hard to learn, you definitely need this school.
In a playful, relaxed way, beginners are introduced to and taught the instrument. Starting with basic knowledge about the instrument itself, through playing techniques and fretboard orientation, up to playing complete songs, a lot of theory is also covered along the way. Reading notation, rhythm, tablature, and much more are addressed alongside the exercises. Plus, the simple exercises guarantee quick learning success.
About the Author

Michael Christoph (born April 2, 1964, in Munich as Michael Schwager) is a drummer, singer, guitarist, bassist, songwriter, author, and passionate music teacher.
At his first attempts on a toy piano, he already showed great musical talent at age six by playing back all the children's songs he knew. He got his first guitar at ten and his first drum set at 15. Inspired by bands like AC/DC, the Beatles, and Led Zeppelin, he taught himself to play drums using their songs. Six months later, Michael Christoph founded his first band with school friends.
In 1981, he played drums for Mike Linney, and from 1982 to 1986, he was drummer for "Doc Savage" with Angel G. Schleifer, who later joined "Pretty Maids" and "Bonfire." After finishing secondary school, he trained as a radio technician and completed his high school diploma at BOS Munich in 1989. In 1994, he began professional drummer training at "Drummer's Focus." He completed his teacher training after two years. From 1998, he was part of the renowned Drummer's Focus teaching team in Munich for 15 years. He accompanied various artists and worked as a cover musician on tours to England, the USA, Mexico, Japan, and several European countries.
In 1992, Michael Christoph founded his own music school "Die Blechtrommel" in Eurasburg, where about 100 students annually learn their favorite instruments from him and his colleagues. The multi-instrumentalist works as a composer, live and studio musician, and private music teacher in Wolfratshausen, Eurasburg, Erding, and Munich, and is the author of several instructional books for drums, piano, guitar, electric guitar, and more.

What I find very practical is that in addition to the learning videos, which one receives through the code in the book, there are also recordings where only the notes are shown again without the explanations, great if I just need a quick reminder or sound reference.
I would recommend it for beginners!
The only thing I might have to criticize would be that not all technical setting options are explained, what I can change on the bridge I have to find out for myself....but I don't think it's bad, plus, maybe I just overlooked the part, happens more often^^.
