Roland KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal!

The Roland KT-10 trigger pedal features a compact design with a "Reverse Trigger" mechanism, in which the beater strikes the playing surface backwards, delivering a natural feel while keeping playing noise very low. The KT-10 is significantly quieter than the combination of a kick pad and a standard kick pedal with beater.

Because of its small footprint it is ideal as a second kick pedal in an acoustic/electronic drum set, or in combination with an SPD-series percussion pad, a HandSonic HPD-20, or a V-Drum set.

Roland V-Drums are the only professional alternative for drummers who live in apartment buildings and need to practice, since acoustic drums are often too loud. Until now, the common method of using a conventional kick pedal on the V-Drum set's kick pad produced correspondingly loud playing noise.

The KT-10 solves this because the pedal is a single unit where the beater strikes the playing surface backwards. As a result, playing noise is reduced by about 75% (based on extensive tests by Roland), without affecting the natural feel.

Ideal for Acoustic/Electronic Drum Sets and Roland E-Percussion Instruments

Thanks to its small footprint and low-profile housing, the KT-10 takes up far less space than the combination of a kick pedal and a kick pad. That makes it ideal for acoustic/electronic drum sets and percussion kits, for example when used with a TM-2 trigger module integrated into an acoustic/electronic kit so that the TM-2 sounds can be played by foot via the KT-10.

The KT-10 is also a useful addition to Roland percussion instruments such as the SPD-SX sampling pad, the OCTAPAD SPD-30 and the HandSonic HPD-20. Connecting the KT-10 is very simple via a single cable.

Variable Weight Settings and Expandability

You can adapt the KT-10's feel flexibly by removing or repositioning the weights to change the pedal resistance, and by changing the spring tension to adjust the pull tension. You can connect a second KT-10 to the Mix In jack and then play with a double kick pedal.
