The Roland KT-10 trigger pedal features a compact design with a "Reverse Trigger" mechanism, where the beater strikes the playing surface backwards, offering a natural playing feel with very low playing noise. The KT-10 is significantly quieter than the combination of a kick pad and a standard foot pedal with beater.

Due to its small footprint, it is ideal as a second kick pedal in an acoustic/electronic drum set or in combination with a percussion pad from the SPD series, a HandSonic HPD-20, or a V-Drum set.

Roland V-Drums are the only professional alternative for drummers living in apartment buildings, as acoustic drums are often too loud. Until now, the common method of using a conventional foot pedal on the kick pad of the V-Drum set caused relatively loud playing noise.

The KT-10 solves this issue by being a unit where the beater strikes the playing surface backwards. This reduces the playing noise volume by about 75% (based on extensive tests by Roland) without compromising the natural playing feel.

Ideal for Acoustic/Electronic Drum Sets and Roland E-Percussion Instruments

Thanks to its small footprint and flat housing, the KT-10 requires far less space than the combination of a foot pedal and kick pad. This makes it ideal for acoustic/electronic drum sets and percussion kits, e.g., in combination with a TM-2 trigger module integrated into an acoustic/electronic drum set, allowing the TM-2 sounds to be played by foot via the KT-10.

The KT-10 is also a practical expansion for Roland percussion instruments such as the SPD-SX sampling pad, the OCTAPAD SPD-30, and the HandSonic HPD-20. Connecting the KT-10 is very simple via a single cable.

Variable Weight Settings and Expandability

You can flexibly adjust the KT-10’s playing style by changing the pedal’s resistance through removing or repositioning weights, as well as adjusting the pedal’s tension by swapping the spring tension. You can connect a second KT-10 to the Mix In jack and then play with a "double foot pedal" setup.
