Intuitive Functionality That Sparks Your Creativity

The KIT MODIFIER combines Yamaha’s decades of sound-shaping know-how into three easy-to-use knobs for AMBIENCE, COMPRESSION, and EFFECT. Thanks to the extraordinary dedication of Yamaha’s developers, users benefit from a wide range of sonic possibilities—from the natural sound of a drum set to the tone of a live performance and expansive effects.

The AMBIENCE knob precisely adjusts the natural room component and reverb level of a drum kit. For an acoustic drum sound, the AMBIENCE MODIFIER blends between 0 to 50% of the recording room’s ambience, and above 50%, it adds a high-quality reverb algorithm to the main signal.

The COMP and EFFECT knobs use the familiar one-knob operation known from Yamaha’s PA series. The COMP effect applies global compression to the overall kit sound, either subtly or noticeably, while EFFECT controls the mix of internal effects. The processors remain fully customizable and offer a long list of selectable effects.

All parameters of the integrated instruments can be conveniently adjusted and modified via seven LED rotary faders. Using the fader selection button, you can choose from six presets with 14 sub-presets each and intuitively control the most fitting options via the LED rotary faders.

Additionally, the LED rotary faders can be used to control connected external devices or a DAW in live and studio situations.

Professional Headphone Amplifier

Knowing how important it is for drummers to hear themselves clearly during performance, Yamaha equipped the DTX-PROX module with a powerful high-end headphone amplifier featuring minimal distortion and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The integrated circuitry delivers premium HiFi sound perfectly positioned in the drummer’s hearing field, specially tailored to the needs of e-drums.

Live Set Function for Quick Setting Changes

The DTX-PROX features a special live set function that lets you recall various combinations of kits, tempo settings, audio files, or backing tracks with a single button during live or streaming situations. It also supports different setups including a wav & click sync function, allowing click settings with synchronized playback, a pre-count, or stopping the click after a set time to audio files.

Connect via Bluetooth, Save Performances

The DTX-PROX’s Bluetooth function lets you wirelessly connect your module to a smart device, portable player, or computer to enjoy your drumming alongside your favorite tracks. Additionally, audio recordings of performances from Bluetooth, AUX, or USB-connected devices as well as your own playing can be made via USB storage media.

Along with an advanced programmable metronome, the module offers versatile recording functions, 10 training types for players of different skill levels, and 37 training songs covering various genres. Includes Cubase AI

The DTX-PROX comes with a download code for the latest version of the powerful DAW solution Cubase AI. Connecting the DTX-PROX via USB cable to a DAW allows you to perform all the usual music production tasks like recording, editing, and mixing with the appropriate software.

The stool features a round seat with leather-look upholstery and stands on three non-slip rubber feet. It can be comfortably height-adjusted via a robust precision spindle. With a removable seat and foldable legs, this seat is quick and easy to transport. Its double-braced legs also withstand tough demands and provide uncompromising stability.

Bass Drum Pedal

This double-chain drive pedal guarantees a consistent, powerful beat with optimal playing comfort. Extremely high-quality workmanship ensures long durability even under years of heavy use. Thanks to versatile adjustment options, the XDrum pedal can be tailored to each player and their individual playing style. The tension of the springs and the beater’s reach are optimally adjustable.

Thanks to its low impedance, the KDJ-1000 can handle extreme volume levels even on low-signal inputs. The softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The entire headphone folds for space-saving storage. For mixing desk work, the comfortable ear cups can rotate 180° for classic single-ear monitoring. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation.
