The DP-19 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, allowing you to precisely influence the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and, like the sostenuto pedal in the middle, is played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often. It lets all tones ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal sustains only already played notes. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer sound.
