The "Soft", "Sostenuto" and "Sustain" Pedals

The DP-19 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, allowing you to specifically influence the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and, like the sostenuto pedal in the middle, is played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right side is usually used most often. It lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains notes already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer sound.
