Weighted Hammer Keyboard With Touch-Point Simulation and Ivory-Touch Surface

The weighted keyboard, touch-point simulation and triple-sensor mechanism of the GP-A 810 authentically recreate the feel of an acoustic grand. The Ivory-Touch key surface delivers an exceptionally high-quality tactile response. With its velocity sensitivity, the digital piano plays like a classical concert grand. The keyboard's dynamic response can be adjusted in six stages via the touch function. To keep the keys reliably protected from dust, the GP-A 810 includes a keyboard cover.

256-Note Polyphony

The GP-A 810 can play up to 256 notes simultaneously, enabling performance of pieces across many genres (classical, rock, pop, etc.) with full stereo sound while using multiple voices at once.

Damper Resonance

The GP-A 810's damper resonance function reliably simulates the inner workings of an acoustic grand. Every pedaled keystroke therefore sounds with its natural resonance.

Auto-Accompaniment With 270 Styles and Chord Fingering Mode

So the GP-A 810 never gets boring: a full band or even an orchestra is always ready to back the pianist via the integrated auto-accompaniment, which follows and adapts to the chords played with the left hand. In total, the Classic Cantabile digital piano offers 230 different styles across a wide range of musical genres.
"Fingering" refers to how chords are entered for the auto-accompaniment. The GP-A 810 electric piano offers three options. Single Fingering lets you play a wide variety of chords even when only a few keys are pressed. With Multifingering the auto-accompaniment is controlled by entering a full chord. Full-Range recognizes chords not only in the left hand area but across the entire keyboard.

Layer and Split Functions

The Layer and Split functions let you comfortably stack and combine two sounds. That creates impressive sonic textures. With the Split function the keyboard can be divided so, for example, strings sound on the left hand while a piano voice plays on the right. The volume of each side can be adjusted independently.

Twinova Function

The Twinova function was created for teachers and students, allowing the keyboard and pedals to be split into two halves. This creates two independent keyboards ideal for demanding piano lessons or practice sessions at home. The pedals adapt as well: the left and right pedals act as the sustain pedal for their respective side, while the middle pedal extends sustain for the entire keyboard. That way you can play as if on two separate pianos using a single instrument!

Extensive Connectivity With USB MP3 Player & Recorder

Another highlight is the wide range of connections and the built-in MP3 recorder of the GP-A 810. The 6.3 mm jack microphone input also makes the grand piano attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder you can record directly to a USB stick. The neat trick: vocals and keystrokes are saved together in a stereo MP3 file. If no USB storage is connected, the internal recorder saves recordings in MIDI format. This feature is perfect for tracking your progress when learning the piano.
The USB-to-Host output lets you connect the digital grand to a computer. With an optionally available Camera Connection Kit you can easily connect iPad and iPhone to the digital piano and use apps in sync—especially useful for recording apps and learning tools.

Headphone Jacks, Line In and Line Out

The two 6.3 mm jack headphone outputs let you practice undisturbed. If the headphones or the integrated hi-fi speakers don't meet your needs, the stereo AUX output allows connection to a PA system or active speakers. To play along with songs from a CD or smartphone simply use the AUX IN jack.

Tune and Transpose

The Tune and Transpose functions let you fine-tune and transpose the instrument like a real grand, so it can be adapted optimally to different acoustic environments and ensembles.

Built-In Metronome

To help you stay in time, the GP-A 810 features an integrated metronome with a tempo range of 30 to 280 bpm and 14 different time signatures. The display also shows the current bar and beat count.

3 Pedals for Maximum Dynamics

Like a concert grand, the GP-A 810 provides three pedals that shape tone and dynamics: the soft pedal (played with the left foot), the sostenuto pedal and the damper pedal, which lets notes decay. The sostenuto pedal sustains already-played notes, while the soft pedal produces a gentler tone.

Harmony

A special feature of the GP-A 810 is the harmony function, which lets you add various harmony notes to the tones played with the right hand. This places harmonic overtones alongside the played melody notes.

HiFi Speaker System With Preset EQ

For powerful sound the GP-A 810 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system that can be tailored to your preferences via an integrated equalizer with 6 presets. Thanks to the USB and AUX inputs as well as the Bluetooth receiver, playback of external sound sources is also a real pleasure.

LCD Display

The clear, easy-to-read LCD provides optimal overview in any playing situation and displays the selected voice, metronome tempo, chosen time signature and other useful information.
