The D1 features a truly weighted hammer action keyboard (RH3) that faithfully reproduces the touch of a grand piano, where lower notes are heavier and higher notes lighter. The touch and weighting feel so natural that you just want to keep playing.

Compact Housing

The entire housing design was rethought from the ground up, reducing its depth to only about 26 cm*. Despite its full-sized weighted keyboard, the D1 remains mobile and easy to transport in its own SC-D1 soft case (sold separately). The stylish ST-SV1 stand (sold separately) perfectly complements an elegant setup—on stage or at home.

Many Practical Features You Expect from a Digital Piano!

The metronome can be activated with a single button press. In layer mode, you can simply press two sound buttons simultaneously to layer two sounds, such as strings or vibraphone, on top of the selected piano sound. The touch control function offers five settings (light, standard, heavy, stable, fixed) to determine how the sound responds to your personal touch dynamics. The three high-quality effects brilliance, reverb, and chorus add the finishing touch to every performance. Each D1 sound comes with an optimal preset effect, so you can play immediately with the best possible sound after selecting an instrument.

Various Connections

Signal connections to the outside world are indispensable, especially on stage. The standard size LINE OUT jacks can be connected directly to active speakers or recording devices. The MIDI IN/OUT jacks can be connected to a computer via a MIDI interface to use the D1 as a MIDI keyboard or piano sound module.

Secure Stand for Your Stage Piano

This very stable, double-braced keyboard stand offers secure support for all common stage pianos, master keyboards, portable keyboards, and synthesizers up to 30 kg. Its extremely robust construction also makes it ideal for tough everyday use on stage. The sturdy rubber sleeves provide absolutely slip- and scratch-resistant support, and the practical leveling parquet protectors (4 on the feet and 2 on top) ensure more stability even on uneven surfaces. To shift the weight or balance, the rubber protectors can be rotated and adjusted as needed. For long service life, all metal parts are coated with durable powder coating. Of course, it can be completely disassembled quickly for easy transport and space-saving storage.

Of course, the softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension offers 12 steps on each side for optimal fit. For even more comfort, the ear cups are mounted on two axes. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation.
The integrated volume control on the cable is always at hand, simplifying use with a PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug delivers excellent transmission quality, and a 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is also included.
