The All-In-One Stage Piano!

The MP7SE is the ultimate tool for every keyboard player. With the MP11SE's technology in its sound generator, DSP and D/A converters, plus 32 of the MP11SE's top sounds, the MP7SE delivers the same sound quality as its bigger sibling. You'll also get features like the virtual tonewheel organ, 129 effects and AMP simulator from the MP11SE, four sections for internal sounds and four-zone master keyboard functionality.

MP7SE New Features & Improvements (compared to MP7)

  • New: Shigeru Kawai SK-EX and SK-5 grand piano sounds
  • New: Responsive Hammer III keyboard
  • New: Support for the new GFP-3 triple pedal (available as an accessory)
  • New: Classic side arms in glossy black design (similar to the VPC1)
  • Improved: Added 'Undamped String Resonance' Virtual Technician parameter
  • Improved: Ability to use different expression pedals (ring/tip)
  • Improved: Ability to invert controllers (e.g. for morphing between two sounds)

RH3 Keyboard with Weighted Keys, Ivory Touch Surfaces and Keybed Pivot Simulation

The RH3 keyboard was developed to authentically reproduce the subtle, natural touch of a grand piano. Its springless design adapts the playing feel naturally via moving hammers and includes a keybed pivot simulation. In addition, the 3-sensor system ensures optimal repetition and control. Different weighting zones create a true grand piano feel. Weights are built into every key and the hammer weighting has been calculated to provide better balance between powerful fortissimo and fatigue-free playing with precise control in pianissimo. The Ivory Touch key surfaces, with their ivory-like properties, absorb moisture and give players a secure grip and excellent control.

Impressive Recordings of Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, SK-5 and Kawai EX Grand Pianos with Harmonic Imaging XL and 88-Key Sampling

The MP7SE reproduces the superb sound of the Kawai SK-EX, SK-5 and EX grand pianos. All 88 keys of these extraordinary concert grands were meticulously recorded and analyzed. The unique character of each note and the wide dynamic range allow the pianist to express emotional playing—from soft pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. The integrated Virtual Technician makes it easy to alter the tonal character of these acoustic piano sounds. For example, you can adjust the intensity of string and damper resonance or the sound of the returning hammers. You can then add a reverb effect to give the tone additional spatial depth.

Great Vintage EPs, Dual Effects and Amp Simulator

The MP7SE also offers an excellent selection of vintage electric piano sounds, each with its own characteristic voice. Experience their natural, organic tones or refine them with popular effects before sending the sound to one of the five classic amplifiers the MP7SE simulates.

Classic Tonewheel Organs with Drawbar Control and Authentic Percussion

The MP7SE's tonewheel organ simulation turns the stage piano into a vintage electromechanical organ complete with nine real-time adjustable drawbars and authentic percussion control. Organ fans can create their own registrations, adjust the organ's "aging," tailor the rotary speaker effect to taste and save everything as one of 256 SETUPs. Additionally, the keyboard touchpoint can be set in three stages so you can enjoy authentic organ playing on a stage piano.

High-Quality Strings, Pads, Synths, Basses and More

In addition to realistic acoustic pianos, vintage electric pianos and tonewheel organs, the MP7SE offers a wide range of high-quality strings, pads, synths, basses and many other useful sounds. These additional voices are ideal for layering, splitting or solo work. If the factory sounds aren't enough, you can tweak them with flexible ADSR parameters, filters with resonance/cutoff and other controls.

Four-Zone Master Keyboard Controller

The MP7SE uses the classic MP series four-zone concept, where each zone can be assigned an internal sound, an external MIDI channel, or both simultaneously. Zones can be placed anywhere across the keyboard, as splits, layers or freely defined. Powerful customization options let you set parameters per zone and control them independently. The MP7SE becomes a perfect all-in-one performance instrument.

Intuitive Operation, Large LCD, Real-Time Controllers

The MP7SE's control panel is clearly structured and easy to navigate. All functions are grouped where you'd expect to find them. A large LCD display and four assignable knobs let you change parameters in real time without diving into menus—you can focus on playing instead of wrestling with awkward controls.

256 SETUP Memory: More Than Enough, Even for the Most Demanding Pianist

All MP7SE settings—sounds with all edits, controller positions, etc.—can be saved as a SETUP and recalled at any time. 256 SETUP memories keep things organized and come preloaded with many common use cases.

USB to Device Functionality with MP3/WAV/SMF Recording and Playback

The MP7SE's USB ports not only connect to a computer but also allow direct loading and saving to a USB drive. This lets you permanently store your custom sounds or SETUPs and protects you in many live situations. USB storage can also be used to play MP3, WAV or SMF files directly. The A-B loop function makes practicing specific sections of a song very easy. USB storage can also be used for direct recording in MP3 or WAV format, with LINE-IN included in the recording. This lets you quickly share audio by email with bandmates, listen on your MP3 player or copy to a computer for further processing, such as burning an audio CD.

The Piano Bench

The extra-wide seat with 5 cm thick foam padding is perfect for long playing sessions and remains comfortable even after hours. The elegant, easy-care and durable leatherette cover not only looks great but is also easy to clean after an intense performance.

The clever leg construction is the real highlight of the Deluxe keyboard bench. The bench height is adjusted using a robust pin system with four detents on the underside of the seat and locked in place by a large clamp on the X-frame legs. To ensure stability, the pins can be secured with small fixing screws. For easy transport, the legs can be detached from the seat and folded flat to save space.

The Keyboard Stand

This sturdy and versatile stand can be used as either a keyboard or mixer stand. The top expands in width from 73 to 110 cm. The solid support legs are individually height adjustable.

Pronomic Headphones with Maximum Wearing Comfort

The soft, wide leatherette headband of the Pronomic studio headphones automatically adapts to head size for a comfortable fit. For long listening sessions, the extra-large, super-soft circumaural ear cups reduce pressure for outstanding comfort. Comfort is rounded out by the single-sided cable feed, which prevents unwanted cable tangles.

Excellent Sound Characteristics

The KH-900 covers a wide frequency range from 15 to 25,000 Hz, delivering balanced, nuanced sound with brilliant, clear highs and precise, full bass. Thanks to its uncolored midrange reproduction, this comfort headphone is ideal for both ambitious hi-fi enjoyment in the studio and for playing instruments such as digital pianos or e-drums.

Best Transmission

With a low impedance of just 32 ohms, the KH-900 performs with powerful sound and plenty of headroom even on low-power headphone outputs like MP3 players or smartphones. The 3.5 mm stereo jack ensures excellent signal transfer. A 6.3 mm stereo adapter is included.

Piano Method

Every beginning is easy—this motto applies to the new edition of Michael Christoph's piano method. If you worry that piano is too hard to learn, this method is a must. It introduces the instrument to beginners in a playful, relaxed way. Starting with well-known, simple melodies and moving to two-handed playing of complete songs, it also covers essential theory alongside the exercises. Reading notation, rhythm, dynamics and more are taught as you go. The straightforward exercises guarantee quick progress.

Learning piano has never been this much fun!

It was all paid for. Partial delivery would have been nicer without asking.
