Just like acoustic pianos use heavier bass hammers and lighter treble hammers, the RH Compact action features different hammer weights, graduated for each playing range. The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass reproduction and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while maintaining clean and precise stereo imaging. Of course, the softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension offers 12 steps per side for optimal fit. For even more comfort, the ear cups are mounted on two-axis pivots. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation. The integrated volume control on the cable is always within reach, simplifying use with a PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug delivers excellent transmission quality, and a 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is also included.
