Fender Flea Signature Jazz Bass - Road Worn Shell Pink - Signature Electric Bass
Flea pays little heed to musical conventions. In his basslines he blends rock elements with funk and jazz. That driving stylistic mix catapulted the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the top of the rock and alternative charts. In doing so, Flea redefined not only the music scene but also the role of the bassist.
Musicians across genres draw inspiration from him today, seasoning their licks with a pinch of funk and trying out new chord progressions and techniques. We think that's worth celebrating, so we've reissued his cherished Shell Pink '61 Jazz Bass. Flea originally received it as a gift from a fan and played it on the Peppers albums "Stadium Arcadium" and "The Getaway", as well as with the supergroup Atoms For Peace.
