The first kit was also a 5-string and I now play it on stage.
The second kit was supposed to be a custom model with maximum modification. I realized that I needed the 5th string. That's why I ordered the third kit.
I think the fit and accessories are good. The strings supplied are disappointing, but the bass sounds much better with a good set of strings.
The body could also be made of nicer wood. A transparent finish would show unsightly spots in the wood. However, this is no longer noticeable with a lacquer finish.
Once the surfaces are nicely finished, the rest is actually child's play. Assemble, align, adjust, tune and start playing.
Bass #1 convinces with enormous fret purity and, after readjusting the neck, string action, ... very nice to play. I'm really looking forward to the next model :-)

The body had small frayed holes in the fornier in some places. We had to repair these with special wax. But the beautiful grain of the wood is really nice, especially after waxing:
The cables of the potentiometers were soldered together incorrectly, which we had to separate again completely and soldered together according to our own plan.
Otherwise, all parts were included; except for a not at all pre-drilled hole, all holes were exactly pre-drilled.
I am very happy with the result, without "professional" help it is just not so good realizable in the first attempt, in my opinion.

Has a layer of marbled burl(I think), about 1mm, veneered on the front. You need to sand and water a couple of times to get the grain off the wood before painting. With such nice grains I chose a stain to not cover them, then clear varnish to make it shiny.
As far as I'm concerned the pickups and electronics are its weak point, the neck is nice and smooth and the tuners hold tuning well. If you know how to assemble it and how to do the setup (you may need to change the angle of the neck with respect to the body for a correct action) it's a great bass, for what it costs it's absolutely worth it...
Questions about product
Question by Jiménez Mohedano on 01.09.2018
Hi, could you give me measurements of the string spacing and the pickup holes? Thanks
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
This is a kit that has to be assembled first, he can adjust the height of the rope himself. But if he thinks the scale is 34 inches or 86.36 cm.
