Die Aktivboxen der Concert-Serie sind perfekt für den professionellen Einsatz. In dem Kunststoff-Gehäuse mit Strukturlack-Optik befindet sich ein hochauflösendes 2-Wege-System, welches von zwei separaten Endstufen angetrieben wird. Zwei Eingangskanäle, ein Bluetooth®-Empfänger und vor allem die DSP-Presets liefern einen unverschämt druckvollen Sound und vielfältige Möglichkeiten.
8" Lautsprecher mit 1,0" Kompressions-Treiber
In dem stabilen Gehäuse werden die beiden Membranen von zwei separaten Endstufen mit Leistung versorgt. Der 8 Zoll große Woofer erhält dabei eine RMS-Leistung von 150 Watt, der Hochtöner wird mit 50 Watt versorgt. Dadurch ergibt sich ein klares, kraftvolles Klangbild mit überragender Durchsetzungskraft.
Anschlussmöglichkeiten
Der erste der beiden Kanäle ist mit einer XLR/Klinke-Combobuchse ausgestattet, welche sowohl die Nutzung von Line-Signalen als auch den direkten Betrieb mit dynamischen Mikrofonen erlaubt. Der zweite Kanal dient zur kabelgebundenen Nutzung von z.B. Laptop und MP3-Player via 3,5 mm-Klinke oder Cinch. Als dritter Eingang steht ein Bluetooth®-Empfänger zur Verfügung, so dass Musik auch von Smartphone und Tablet aus auf die Box gestreamt werden kann.
DSP-Presets
Im Bereich "Speaker Mode" kann der Klang der Box ganz einfach auf den jeweiligen Einsatzzweck angepasst werden:
- PA: Die Standardeinstellung, in der alle Frequenzen gleichmäßig wiedergegeben werden.
- Monitor: Für den Einsatz als Bodenmonitor gedacht. In dieser Einstellung werden die Bässe etwas abgesenkt, während die Höhen angehoben werden.
- Sub: Senkt die tiefen Frequenzen ab. Sinnvoll, wenn ein zusätzlicher Subwoofer ohne Frequenzweiche benutzt wird.
- Speech: Der Frequenzenzbereich der menschlichen Stimme wird angehoben, um ein klares, verständliches Klangbild zu erhalten.
Mix Out-Ausgang
Der schaltbare XLR-Ausgang erlaubt in der Einstellung "MIX" das Ausspielen des Summensignals an eine weitere Box, während im Modus "CH 1" nur das Signal von Kanal 1 ausgegeben wird. Dadurch kann beispielsweise ein Signal (z.B. rechter Kanal oder Monitor 2) zu einer zweiten Box durchgeschleift, aber an der ersten Box stumm geschalten werden.
Status-LEDs und Stromversorgung
Drei LEDs auf der rechten Seite geben darüber Auskunft, ob eine Netzspannung und ob ein Signal anliegt. Die dritte LED zeigt an, ob der integrierte Limiter aktiv wird, welcher die Multifunktionsbox vor Verzerrungen und Beschädigungen bewahrt. Ein besonderes Schmankerl ist das professionelle Power Management: ein zusätzlicher Netzausgang versorgt weitere Geräte mit Spannung bis zu einer Stromstärke von 7 Ampere.

We use them for training in our sports hall.

- The volume control for Bluetooth is not next to the control button for Bluetooth --> operation confusing (who came up with that?)
- The power supply cable does not have a standard IEC plug but a "Powercon" connection and is quite short
- The box has a slight noise when idle. This is not a production fault, but is due to the power amplifier design
All in all, however, a recommendation to buy.

A ground lift switch would be nice, because if the mixer and box are on separate circuits, it may hum. Thus, a DI box must still be in between.
The Power-Con connection (input and output) is very good - but the included cable is a joke with a length of less than 1.5m: The boxes are mounted on a speaker stand and the Schuko plug hangs in the air. Someone has probably planned past the practicality, but longer cables are fortunately easy to get - it's just a pity that 1m cable (value of goods under 1, - €) is saved.
