The active speakers of the Concert series are perfect for professional use. Inside the plastic enclosure with textured finish you'll find a high-resolution 2-way system driven by two separate amplifiers. Two input channels, a Bluetooth® receiver and—above all—the DSP presets deliver an outrageously punchy sound and a wide range of options.
8" Speaker with 1.0" Compression Driver
In the sturdy enclosure both drivers are powered by two separate amplifiers. The 8-inch woofer receives 150 Watt RMS, while the tweeter is fed with 50 Watt. That yields a clear, powerful sound with outstanding projection.
Connections
The first of the two channels features an XLR/¼" combo jack that accepts line signals as well as direct connection of dynamic microphones. The second channel is for wired sources such as a laptop or MP3 player via 3.5 mm jack or RCA. A Bluetooth® receiver serves as a third input so music can also be streamed to the speaker from a smartphone or tablet.
DSP Presets
Under "Speaker Mode" the speaker's sound can be easily adapted to the intended application:
- PA: The default setting, which reproduces all frequencies evenly.
- Monitor: Designed for floor-monitor use. In this setting the bass is slightly reduced while the highs are boosted.
- Sub: Low frequencies are attenuated. Useful when an additional subwoofer is used without a crossover.
- Speech: The frequency range of the human voice is emphasized to deliver a clear, intelligible sound.
Mix Out Output
The switchable XLR output allows the summed signal to be sent to another speaker in the "MIX" setting, while in "CH 1" mode only the signal from channel 1 is output. Status LEDs and Power Supply
Three LEDs on the right side indicate whether mains power and a signal are present.
