Flexible Powerhouses for Professional Applications!
The active speakers of the Concert series are perfect for professional use. Inside the plastic enclosure with a textured finish sits a high-resolution 2-way system driven by two separate amplifiers. Two input channels, a Bluetooth® receiver and, above all, the DSP presets deliver outrageously punchy sound and versatile possibilities.
8" Speakers with 1.0" Compression Driver
In the rugged enclosure the two diaphragms are powered by separate amplifiers. The 8-inch woofer receives an RMS power of 150 watts, while the tweeter is supplied with 50 watts. The result is a clear, powerful sound with outstanding projection.
Connections
The first of the two channels features an XLR/TRS combo jack, allowing both line signals and direct use with dynamic microphones. The second channel is intended for wired sources such as a laptop or MP3 player via a 3.5 mm jack or phono. A third input is provided by the Bluetooth® receiver, so music can also be streamed from a smartphone or tablet to the speaker.
DSP Presets
In the "Speaker Mode" area the speaker's sound can be easily adapted to the specific application:
- PA: The standard setting, in which all frequencies are reproduced evenly.
- Monitor: Intended for floor-monitor use. In this setting the bass is slightly reduced while the highs are boosted.
- Sub: Low frequencies are attenuated. Useful when an additional subwoofer is used without a crossover.
- Speech: The frequency range of the human voice is boosted to produce a clear, intelligible sound.
Mix Out Output
The switchable XLR output allows, in the "MIX" setting, the summed signal to be sent to another speaker, while in "CH 1" mode only the signal from channel 1 is output. This lets you, for example, pass a signal (e.g. right channel or monitor 2) through to a second speaker while muting it on the first.
Status LEDs and Power
Three LEDs on the right indicate whether mains power and a signal are present. The third LED shows whether the integrated limiter is active; it protects the multifunction speaker from distortion and damage. A nice touch is the professional power management: an additional mains outlet powers other devices with up to 7 amps of current.

We use them for training in our sports hall.
The 3 inputs are exactly what we need:
"the first of the two channels is equipped with an XLR/jack combo socket, which allows the use of line signals as well as direct operation with dynamic microphones. The second channel is for wired use of e.g. laptop and MP3 player via 3.5 mm jack or RCA. A Bluetooth® receiver is available as a third input so that music can also be streamed to the speaker from smartphones and tablets."
This gives us Bluetooth or cable input and the option of also connecting a headset.
It takes some getting used to:
- The volume control for Bluetooth is not next to the control button for Bluetooth --> operation confusing (who came up with that?)
- The power supply cable does not have a standard IEC plug but a "Powercon" connection and is quite short
- The box has a slight noise when idle. This is not a production fault, but is due to the power amplifier design
All in all, however, a recommendation to buy.
If you want a little more power, you can go for the bigger brothers of this speaker.

A ground lift switch would be nice, because if the mixer and box are on separate circuits, it may hum. Thus, a DI box must still be in between.
The Power-Con connection (input and output) is very good - but the included cable is a joke with a length of less than 1.5m: The boxes are mounted on a speaker stand and the Schuko plug hangs in the air. Someone has probably planned past the practicality, but longer cables are fortunately easy to get - it's just a pity that 1m cable (value of goods under 1, - €) is saved.
