The familiar, easy-to-use interface of the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB keeps all critical controls visible and accessible — not hidden in menus or layers. Our design philosophy is simple: one fader for every mono or stereo channel, one output for every bus. New are the easily accessible, color-coded function buttons, rotary trim controls and clearly labeled, individual controls for EQ and dynamics processing. The aux sends have their own physical controls. Each channel has a large, bright display. The analog feel is deceptive: the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB delivers the full digital package.

Size Isn't Everything

At under 2 square feet (0.19 square meters), the compact 16-channel StudioLive 16.0.2 USB offers 8 mono input channels, 4 stereo channels and 4 aux buses, each equipped with high-quality 60 mm faders. You get generous analog I/O, 12 XMAX Class-A mic preamps, a talkback input with a Class-A mic preamp, extensive signal processing with physical controls, MIDI control, accurate metering and an integrated multitrack recording interface. As with all StudioLive mixers, the 16.0.2 USB comes with a suite of integrated recording, control and audio analysis software. It's so light and compact you can easily hold it in one hand and tuck it under your arm.

No Compromises

The unique Fat Channel provides a compressor, limiter, expander and a 3-band semi-parametric EQ for every channel and bus, a high-pass filter on every channel, phase inversion for the channel mic preamps, a library of professionally designed presets and the ability to save and selectively recall processor settings. A stereo 31-band graphic EQ sits on the main bus. And to round things off, you get two 32-bit delay/reverb effect processors, each with its own dedicated mix bus and a library of useful effect presets.

Just plug in and you'll immediately hear incredible detail and clarity. The StudioLive mixers operate at up to 48 kHz for high-resolution mixing and recording. High-quality Burr-Brown converters on every input and output deliver a first-class dynamic range of 118 dB, so you can capture all the highs and lows with high accuracy and without audible distortion. The XMAX mic preamp additionally delivers incredibly high headroom, deep lows, smooth highs and a rich overall tone.

The Perfect Connection

The integrated 18x16 multitrack recording interface of the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB is tightly integrated with the rest of the mixer — not an afterthought. All 16 channels and the main mix stream continuously to your USB-connected Mac or Windows PC. Each channel can independently access its analog input or its dedicated digital output from the computer.
With the StudioLive mixer, recording is simple: launch the included, preconfigured Capture software for one-click recording of all channel inputs and your main mix. Or record with the included Studio One Artist DAW or any other recording software that supports ASIO or Core Audio. Now you can record with ease in the studio or on stage.

Plenty of Connections

On the back of the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixer you'll find all the connections you expect from an analog mixer: balanced mic inputs on each of the 8 mono channels, 8 balanced ¼-inch line inputs, 4 unbalanced phono line inputs and dedicated balanced outputs for each of the 4 aux buses and the main stereo bus. Each input channel and bus send has its own dedicated jack — no sharing, no compromises — so you always know what's flowing from every output.
