Gentle Melodies & Powerful Nordic Sounds: Classic Cantabile K-36!
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of music with the Celtic harp from Classic Cantabile: an extraordinary harp with 36 strings and improved, color-coded tuning hooks. This harp is a true masterpiece that delights both beginners and advanced players.
Improved Lever Mechanism
An outstanding feature of this harp are the improved and color-coded tuning hooks. Each string is equipped with a semitone lever which, when engaged, raises the pitch of the respective string by a semitone. These tuning hooks make tuning the strings easier and more precise than ever before.
Whether you're an experienced player looking for fine adjustments or a beginner exploring the instrument - the colored tuning hooks give you clear orientation and allow precise tuning of the strings.
Typical Design
Characteristic of the Celtic harp is the gracefully curved shape of the pillar, like the one found on the Irish coat of arms. With 36 strings it has a range of 5 octaves (C - c4). From gentle, soothing tones to lively and rousing pieces - this hook harp lets you sink into melodies and embark on your own musical journey.
Made from high-quality ash wood, it radiates natural beauty and elegance. The wood not only gives the harp a warm tonal character but also provides a sturdy construction that ensures durability and stability.
Tuning
The 36 strings are tuned diatonically to E-flat major, with the red and blue strings indicating where the notes C and F are located. By flipping up the respective color-coded hooks the harp can be quickly retuned to another key, which makes it very flexible for playing with others.
For first attempts and easier understanding a C tuning is also possible. The two tuning keys included in the delivery are used to tune the instrument: the square key is fitted to the tuning pegs, while the hex key serves the fine tuners on the opposite side.
Versatile Applications
The harp is ideal for use in various musical genres such as Celtic, classical or contemporary music. Whether you play solo, perform in a band or join other musicians: thanks to its versatile tonal palette you can express different moods and emotions with the Classic Cantabile Celtic harp. From soft and dreamy tones to lively and captivating sounds - the possibilities are almost limitless.
Includes Carrying Bag
The softly padded bag not only offers your instrument sufficient protection against dust and scratches, the outer pocket also provides enough room for the two tuning keys and additional accessories.
