This means you can easily play a song in a different key while keeping the same fingering, making it simpler to adapt to other instruments or singers.

Focused Practice With Metronome And Headphones

The DP-50's integrated metronome helps you stay in time and keep the tempo while practicing. The tempo and the volume of the "click" can be adjusted to match your progress. Pedal Unit For "Soft", "Sostenuto" And "Damper"

As with a grand piano, the DP-50 provides three pedals you can use to influence and shape your music.

The "Soft" pedal (left) reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer tonal character. It is played with the left foot, as is the middle sostenuto pedal.

The damper pedal (right) is used most often. It lets notes sustain, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains notes that were already played.

USB Audio/MIDI Interface And Playback Function

Via the integrated USB audio/MIDI interface the DP-50 can be connected directly to your computer or MIDI sampler. This allows the piano to be used as a master keyboard with common sequencer programs.

Additionally, external devices such as smartphones or MP3 players can be connected and played via the stereo-in jack (rear). You can accompany the played music on the piano, making the repertoire for practice and play-along almost limitless.

2-Track Recording And Playback

With the built-in recording function you can record and play back your piano performances. The storage capacity is about 9,000 notes per track. This feature is perfect for assessing the progress of your piano playing.
