I have bought the Roland HP704 from Kirstin 2 weeks ago and it was delivered neatly, without any problem.

As a piano beginner, I have fallen in love with 'my Roland' in the meantime. I still use only a fraction of the countless possibilities, but because of curiosity I have already tested many things. The handling of the order was smooth, a telephone contact informative and friendly, the delivery professional and mega fast. I remain a customer of Kirstein.

After 10 days of daily use, we are thrilled with our Roland HP-704, both my kids as beginners and me as an experienced player.

The keyboard keeps what Roland promises. The feel is just great. There is a great response that I have never experienced from an epiano. All keys are perfectly weighted. The surface of the keys feel noble and at the same time prevent slipping while playing. It is simply the best keyboard I have ever played on an epiano.

Playing feel is individual and many factors play a role. Therefore, a direct comparison is difficult. I don't want to give a recommendation, because I have only played the CLP-635 more often. Nevertheless, in former times I found the keyboard of CLP-635 good. Today I would only classify them as ok.

The sound is almost perfect. One notices the effect of the additional speakers clearly. However, the HP-704 unfolds its full sound bloom only from 80%. Below that, the low tones sound a bit blurry. The volume is sufficient. It is just a home piano, which is designed for a living room. For a concert hall you must then connect via lineout to amplifier, which I have not yet tried.

Over the headphones the sound is great. You can hear a big difference to other epianos. Roland has a special technology, which you can really feel. Here the low tones are not blurred even at low volume. But even here the sound is from about 70% better and clearer.

I underestimated how comfortable it is to have the controls above the keyboard and not on its side. A big difference that you don't notice without knowing it. The controls are cleanly finished and look very classy. Their operation is very intuitive. You don't need a manual for it.

One of the things you only appreciate after you know it is Bluetooth audio/music. This allows you to connect other devices to the HP-704 via Bluetooth. As soon as you turn on the epiano, it automatically connects to other devices. It is a clear added value when you watch a piece of music on YouTube and accompany it with the piano. The sound is combined on the speakers of the HP-704. You feel like you're part of the band or orchestra.

The APP from Roland is also an asset. It has everything you need. However, you do need a tablet. On my iPhone plus it is too small. Therefore, the functions have not yet been sufficiently tested.

Visually, the epiano is very nice. It is not too small and makes what her in living room as a full piece of furniture. The processing is high quality and extremely robust. But

A lot of things are supplied by Roland. The manual is very, very good. There you notice the difference to a cheap manufacturer from other Asian countries... A thick book with notes and scores is included. For beginners up to Chopin and Bach. Very useful especially with all scales.

The set from Kirstein was worth it. The bench is very high quality and sturdy. The headphones are, contrary to the description, even from Roland. However, the supplied booklet is honestly unnecessary, because there is not so much useful information...

Now to a minor and a major point of criticism. It's not so bad that the menu navigation of the Epiano is only in English or Japanese. However, school English is completely sufficient v.a. the operation so intuitive, so that one does not need it. A very big point of criticism is the music stand. It is too high. Especially for children it is very exhausting to take the head in the neck to see the sheet music. Also for adults with 1,73 m it is too high. Even after almost two weeks of daily 2-hour playing I could not get used to it. Roland should take the point and maybe improve it so we can get a perfect home piano.

For now, one can only hope to get used to it in 10 years. That's probably how long you'll keep the HP-704, since it comes with a 10 year (!) warranty. Kirstein also offers a generous 3 year warranty. Hopefully you won't have to fall back on that. But with my previous experience with Kirstein you can be reassured.

Kirstein offers the best service I have experienced online. Emails were answered quickly. Purchase smooth and fast. Invoice and warranty info fast. Delivery on time and prompt. What more could you ask for. I hope Kirstein has long success and expands its product line so I can buy more through them.

I can only describe the purchase as uncomplicated and recommendable. The processing was problem-free, the announced delivery on time. Setup and commissioning were simple, and the device was ready to use without having to read the user manual.

The sound and the headphone option are super (can also play in sleepless nights ;-)).
