Customer ratings for Pronomic XA-1400 Amplifier 2 x 3000 Watts

I bought the amplifier to work in a 3-way DSP system.
2x2 planar tweeters (2x160watt RMS) = LG amplifier 2x300watt RMS H-class.
2x full range lg 15 ( 2x500watt RMS) = LG amplifier 2x900 watt RMS H-class
2x Sub 18 inch lg ( 2x900watt RMS) = Pronomic xa-1400 2x 1400 watt RMS H-class.

As you can see I like to have some headroom in the amps.......helps the dynamic range.
The XA-1400 has a lot of power.......an is impressive in the lower......range below 20Hz.....
It easily beats D-class amplifiers in the low end.......
D-class suffers from energy buffer for power needed for deep bass

I'll also try the amp on two bass tubes with 1000 watt RMS subwoofers, tuned to 20HZ.........These are for home theater.

Sure I will have to modify the fan......... but that is a simple and necessary job if I will use the amp for home theater.
But the sound definitely impresses me.....

the XA1400 is used in my home cinema.
There are 4 Eminence LAb 15 operated with it, I have connected two pieces in parallel / stereo.
This results in 2.5 ohms per channel (the Lab 15 is specified with 4.9 ohms DC resistance).
During a 2 hour test with decent volume the amp didn't even get warm to the touch.
The sound is clear and precise.
This is not self-evident as the Lab 15 has a relatively heavy diaphragm (Mms 308 grams).
Sensitive natures may have something to complain about the built-in fan, because it is a bit loud.
However, one must not forget that the XA 1400 was primarily designed as a high power amp for professional use.
Conclusion:
very good power amplifier with excellent price-performance ratio.

I'm not at my first pronomic it's a powerful amp nothing to say. Goes against the dhl freight delivery service and incredibly mediocre. The deliveryman decides by himself that I refuse the package even though he hasn't even been to my place. It's very, very difficult to find someone and I didn't even get any more information about the delivery than we did, it's unbelievable. For the record it's 4:30pm and the guy is sence delivered it to me today. I'm hiring at 5:00. No scheduling arrangements. Product ordered over 15 days ago.

I bought two of these power amps less than a year ago to drive two self-built basses with 1200W AES.
This came out clearly too little pressure. Barely turned up a bit and the clip limiter jumps on.
Now I have bought a more valuable device and if you put 1200W on it, you get DEUTHY more out of it.
I would definitely not recommend the unit for 1200W bass.
May be that it is sufficient for weaker bass.
The second star is only because the clip limiter seems to have worked well.
In other words, despite lots and lots of clipping, our drivers are still alive.

I use the XA-1400 for four 18s. Well made, heavy, reliable.
For the tops I have the XA-800. In combination a rock solid amp combination.

I am perfectly satisfied with the delivery but especially with the quality of the product follow-up. I have not yet had the time to test the product that works perfectly.

Hello, after I had now waited several months for the Pronomic power amplifier XA 1400 this also did not come at the announced time . Waited one day in the heat. Answer to an e-mail to you..-No answer.
Then 2 days later call and delivery from DHL. Me and my friends will not order anything from you in the future. And we have bought many power amplifiers from you. Unfortunately I am not allowed to give names. But it is enough now. MfG Jürgen Bertelt

For years I used amplifiers similar to the PRONOMIC TL-1200 in the bass range and was generally satisfied. Since you can not finally satisfy his hunger for power, it could be a bit more with a new acquisition. The XA-1400 fulfils the expectations completely. The reproduction in the range of 35 - 80 Hz is clean and extremely powerful, no matter if techno beat with short impulses or even dubstep with lengthy low bass sequences. Initially tested with 2x18" at 1 kW per channel (-> 4 Ohm), then even with double the number of speakers (-> 2 Ohm !!!) over 4 hours - completely harmless and really convincing. This amplifier is powerful, safe and fairly priced. The only small drawback in my opinion is the mains connection, which goes directly into the housing via a strain relief. Here is today a Powercon connection state of the art and would be much more practical.

Will soon certainly acquire some devices of the XA series.

Conclusion: For all those who have no problem with the fact that no well-known logo is emblazoned on the front panel, this amplifier is highly recommended. It really gives real gas... ;-)

already have several of these power amplifiers. Extremely powerful on subwoofers and clear in reproduction on tops. Apart from the high weight, the XA series has the best price-performance ratio in the range of PA power amplifiers. Unreserved purchase recommendation

Operate with it 2 rcf 18" 1000rms without problems. Even at 8std operation with ca50hz no failures. Purchase recommendation. Had on loan times the proline but this xa1400 really a tucken better....

Top price-performance ratio has super much power even in the bass range!

Hello the versterker is world class, it's a lot of money what he costs no question but you also get what for his money. Although very heavy but full much power party alarm :-)

Very good power amp the specified performance is totally right a power without end despite the high weight but very good quality is built.
