Easy to assemble. It sounds very good indeed. What I notice the most are the plastic keys that move a little. But value for money is correct. They were very reliable on delivery. If under the door. It weighs a lot. But all correct and well emvalado although tubiera broken the outer box.

I am still a beginner in playing the piano and wanted for the beginning of an electric piano, which looks beautiful at the same time. I am very excited about the design, has a very good quality and also sounds very nice. I can only recommend!

The purchase was easy, arrived early, unfortunately there was a broken foot, but Kirstein replaced it. The film sent for editing we didn't urinate it because it was easy without it.

For the price this is not bad, bit meager bass but still goes. I like the part.

Have the Funkey with spannung expected. It meets my expectations. As a Wersianer times to play something different has surprised me very much. A small drawback is the last octave on the keyboard from F to C does not sound right but when does one play such high notes. The E piano came exactly as the delivery date was. Excellent digital piano suitable for those approaching the instrument and even the most experienced, complete with many features sin the unweighted keyboard but the super affordable price makes it all very interesting.

The piano arrived on time (6 days), however I was a little disappointed that one of the keys did not work ... Apparently it's a recurring problem, but when you invest 400€ in it, you can't expect much .../

Our last ePiano broke after many years, the electronic damage was no longer economically viable to repair, a relatively expensive brand at the time.

They are still available today, but for home use it seemed excessive to us to invest from 1,000€ upwards.

The FunKey DP-88 II caught our eye, unexpectedly cheap and apparently the "house brand" of Kirstein, because the Far East box of the delivery is already labeled Kirstein.

The assembly succeeded us uncomplicated, about 15-20min are sufficient here completely.
A good manual is included, but if you look at the components, every halfway talented do-it-yourselfer will be able to assemble the piano intuitively.
One small detail is negative here, it is the cable of the pedals, for this there is no integrated cable channel, so it hangs loosely down behind the device. It is well adjusted in length and thus does not form an unnecessary cable loop, but it would be nicer if integrated. Unfortunately, it is too short to lead it up the side and stick it on, so we first attached it to the back of the piano with some tape.

The plug-in power supply looks very simple and we would find it better if the power supply was integrated into the piano and only a thin power cable was connected, because the device does not need much power, hence the small power supply.

Very pleasant is that the USB socket on the back of the piano, if you do not need it otherwise, can be ideally used for a lamp. We placed a USB lamp on the piano and can thus do without an additional power supply or power cable.

Very practical and solid is the keyboard cover, a really sturdy lid that closes well, so there is no need for a cloth etc. to protect the keyboard from dust during breaks in playing. There is a folding bar in the lid, on which you can easily put down notes, our brand ePiano did not have something like that before, despite the high price.

We are really amazed what to get today for around 400€, a really well thought out instrument and appealing quality and sound variety.

The keyboard is good, although a touch worse than our previous, especially in the inherent noise, the keys could be a touch better damped, which is then just a bit audible at low volumes. The stroke is clearly recognizable and responds dynamically to the finger activation, which is how it has to be for an ePiano, we wouldn't accept anything else. Outstandingly good for this price range.

Then there are a lot of control keys and the large central display. While the display is illuminated, the function keys are unfortunately not and that becomes a problem in dim corners, which is why we use the LED light on the piano.

Some keys are intuitive, others not, but Kirstein provides a very good manual, which we have now almost completely opened. We don't need many functions, but those we like to use, we naturally want to operate unerringly. The numeric input is unfortunately twisted sideways, one is rather used to a laptop numeric keypad, with the zero at the bottom. Well, you get used to it.

We like the display, its illumination is not obtrusive and the LCD is high-contrast and easy to read, even the notes are displayed, we of course also the selected functions.

If you don't play the piano over headphones, which we hardly ever do, you'll notice the powerful integrated speakers, so you can even fill a larger room with sound before the need for a sound system arises.

The resistance of the pedals could be minimally lower, they are a bit tight, but they work well and their function is also well described in the manual.

The wood quality of the base is quite simple, but functional. It's cheap-looking foiled chipboard, but you don't see the saw edges when it's assembled. In addition, Kirstein has relied on solid feet, which clearly lift the impression of the base and make the piano very stable, it does not tilt even with hectic hard stops, stands on flat floors absolutely tilt-free.


In conclusion, we consider the ePiano to be very to highly recommendable, if your own demands aren't too high. In direct comparison to branded devices in this functional class, it is truly a bargain. The longevity will be seen, but honestly, is it worth repairing a more expensive device after the warranty expires? It depends on the individual case, in our case it was no longer worth it, the repair of the central electronics was close to the new price.
If the brand name is not important to you and you can get by with a medium quality and function, you won't go wrong with this ePiano.

Among other things, the FunKey DP-88 was recommended to us by the music school that our children attend, as a good entry-level model. Also, a resale is very well possible, if the children permanently lose the desire, so they themselves have very often inquiries if they know someone who wants to sell a good, used device (also from us :-) ).
Despite the price for entry-level models in the first moment felt quite high and my resistance in the first moment, I am in retrospect glad not to have bought a discounter device, which was also on sale at the same time.
The digital piano sounds really good and not as tinny as other "entry-level" models. It seems very high-quality, which starts with the first keystroke. It's hard to describe, pleasant resistance, no numb clacking, no unnecessary play to the left and right (wobbly keys), etc.
Our children now use the device daily and with enthusiasm, so I very likely do not have to use the option "resale at a small loss" that resonates in the back of my mind, which you do not have so with "cheap homes".
Of course, I can't judge the "innards".
The service can also be properly assessed only in the warranty case, which hopefully does not occur. However, the contact in advance was very friendly and unobtrusive.

The feel and look are very nice on this affordable piano. The assembly went easily. The description is partly unwieldy. The sound was so far preset. I find good that Kirstein offers a basic introductory course free of charge. Unpacking and assembling it was already a party in itself! :) The 88 key instrument has no hammer keys (not weighted or weighted), but the keyboard is somewhat touch sensitive. Plays nice. As a starter piano, this Funkey is very satisfactory. Also as a keyboard with 160 automatic accompaniment styles to a left played chord and 360 different sounds, meets excellent. All in all a good buy! Now we repeat our old lessons and start playing .......

The instrument arrived well packed on the agreed date.
It was purchased as a practice piano for our daughter (15), who is learning to play the piano autodidactically and was dissatisfied with the existing keyboard because of the lower number of keys.
The construction was mastered by 2 people within a short time. The white lacquer/coating unfortunately shows some minor damage.
The sound corresponds to the price range, for beginners and for practicing it is quite suitable. Some keys are a little stiff in the touch.
Overall, a passable instrument for the small purse.

Unfortunately there was a delay in delivery of about a month, but I was promptly notified, for the rest the piano is perfect.

The piano is a beautiful product easy to assemble, corresponds to the description and photos perfectly. The only observation I can make is as follows: "THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS IN ITALIAN". I have chosen this item for my 11 year old son, how will he be able to use all the functions of the piano if there are no instructions?

Basically satisfied with the piano, only the last 7 treble tones (white) and three black tones give very little sound.

I bought the electric piano for my son. The workmanship is very valuable. This also applies to the sound and the keystroke. The possibilities and settings including recording and playback via USB are huge. With the electric piano it is really fun to practice and play. The Funkey DP-88 I actually like very well for the price, BUT: the pedals squeak what the stuff holds. I have it now for not even 2 weeks and the squeak is really hard to bear. If you play without headphones, then the squeak is still clearly audible even at the highest volume and really affects the fun!
Very sad, it's actually only a small thing. But just a little thing that massively impairs the fun on the whole...

I was waiting for a certain amount of time before giving my impressions...

This instrument is an excellent investment, the only regret is that the operating instructions are only in German or English badly translated from German!
It seems impossible to understand the use of certain keys, as well as the memorization of the selections which is erased when switching it off!...

regarding the tracking of the parcel, correct until Toulouse..... then a few days of galley to find the good carrier (DHL plane, DHL pallets, DHL train....) impossible to have an information... until we find the good person: DHL Toulouse which finds the trace of our parcel.

I took it thinking that the keys were weighted and instead it is a normal electronic keyboard, unusable as a piano.

I purchased this product as a gift for my wife on her birthday on last Sunday 17th May 2020 and received on 22nd May 2020. One key of the piano has problem, it makes defect sound when pressed “B (middle octave)”
What should I do now I don't know.
