Customer ratings for Epiphone Les Paul Special VE VWVS

I have been looking for a simple LesPaul. More or less for home use, to occasionally make some music. That you get such a solid guitar for such a low price, I did not expect.

Workmanship is good overall. The tuners are rather plain, but the tuning keeps super. Everything cleanly finished, no protruding frets, no scratches. The poplar body gives the guitar a nice weight. The string action is also fine. Visually pleasing is the matte, transparent finish, which brings out the wood texture nicely. Unlike a typical LesPaul, this model is not arched, but kept flat.

The guitar could have been given a few better strings at the factory. The few euros extra cost would not have been decisive. After I had first put on new strings, the sound was again a lot richer.

Nice instrument! Of course you can't expect a high-end Paula. But for beginners who want to orientate themselves for the first time and for less players like me it is perfect.

Habe nach ner schlichten, Anfänger geeigneten Gitarre gesucht, die nicht von irgend einer billigen no Name Marke ist. Da ich schon länger (10 Jahre) mit der Gitarre vertraut bin habe ich einige Marken kennlernen dürfen und auch einige Freunde haben mir Epiphone, quasi die kleine Schwester von Gibson empfohlen. Und ich muss sagen: ich wurde nicht enttäuscht!
Die Verarbeitung ist super, die Potis wacheln nicht und die Bünde sind alle gerade im Griffbrett und bilden keine Berg und Talbahn. Den Hals musste ich auch nicht Nachstellen. Da ich ja Annfänger in Sachen e-Gitarre bin, musste ich erstmal an allen Schaltern und Hebeln herumprobieren, aber das dauerte nicht lange. Macht auch echt Spaß!

Appearance, workmanship flawless. Also good sound (unfortunately can not compare it with other electric guitars. Fine adjustments are certainly still necessary so that the sound at all chords with barre and all frets 100 clean sounds.

Absolutely top processing, super adjusted, am very satisfied with the sound. My Fender is always happy when he sees them.
