When we opened the cover we saw that a string is broken ! Very unfortunate.
I hope the teacher can fix it. It is a beautiful cello though.

Those who, like our school orchestra, have to keep to a tight budget and are faced with the question of whether a usable beginner's instrument is even available at this unbeatable price, won't go wrong with this cello. With a little feeling for the material, setting up the bridge should not be a big problem even for non-experts, and as soon as the - admittedly somewhat poor - stringing holds the tuning, there is almost nothing standing in the way of eliciting the first notes.

Only the stubborn rosin, which does not let itself be impressed by the bow hair as a mirror-smooth block, could stand in the way of first attempts. So if you want to get started right away, you might want to order a softer rosin.

The workmanship seems very solid, the fingerboard is straight and the string action is fine. Also visually there is absolutely nothing to complain about. The bow is strung quite neatly, and the bow screw should withstand a few tension cycles with proper treatment. Last but not least, the lightly padded bag deserves praise; although it is of course not made for transport in a crowded public transport.

In my opinion, this uncomplicated instrument is well suited to meet the requirements of young cello beginners for two to three years - if you can afford a new stringing, perhaps even longer.

The lid comes off, the loop does not tighten, very disappointed in the product.

The instrument probably has no quality control. The scroll was broken and we found it out of the case in the paper box.

Nice finish with a very few painting problems. Acceptable sound for a beginner. Worth the price!

I am very satisfied - the delivery was fast and good. Of course there was a problem with the tuning, but that is normal for string instruments-absolutely good instrument for the price 👍

Everything is perfect, the selection, the price, the fast shipping and despite the set up, finally being able to use it. I'm just starting out and it's perfect for me.

Considering the price, I didn't expect such a good sound! I'm not a pro but I think it should be played at the violin maker's anyway. It comes in kit and we install it with a youtube tuto but I don't think it's ideal.

Everything went well in time, however the neck was not varnished, which makes a stain but does not prevent the cello from working properly.

Good and fast delivery and all accessories are present, including bow, bridge and even rosin!

Quality is adequate and the sound from this cello is surprisingly good for this price.

First shipment arrived damaged. Immediately returned and immediately refunded. Second shipment arrived intact. Very first experience, so can't comment. The music teacher gave a very positive opinion of the quality.

I bought this cello to resume the practice of this instrument after 20 years of inactivity. The communication abec the seller was very fluid and the reception went very well.

The product arrived on time and was well packaged. However, I was surprised when I saw that the cello was not matt as ordered but "shiny". But after my cello teacher had a closer look at the instrument and tightened the strings and put on the bridge, she was very positively surprised by the sound as I was.
And all that for such a low price.
Furthermore, you should not be surprised if you stroke the strings with the bow and no sound comes out. Because you should first take care of the bow with rosin and a slightly wet cloth. When the bow is no longer wet, you can hear beautiful tones when stroking the strings out.

We bought the cello as a gift for our daughter and have been very satisfied with everything so far. The instrument arrived very quickly, packed very well and protected. It looks high quality and stable...visually really an eye-catcher!
If the cello teacher is then also still satisfied, hammer everything right!

Super nice cello, would recommend this one to anyone looking for a cello.

The first problem I had was when I had to set the soundpost myself.
For this I had to build a tool myself. With a little craftsmanship, this also works - but requires some knowledge of violonemaking, so that you set the soundpost correctly.
I asked a violin maker, the setting usually costs 20 to 80 Euro. This should be taken into account if you do not know how to set the soundpost.

The rosin is useless; the strings are of inferior value.

Why nevertheless four stars?

Well, after all the little tweaks and bugs that you have to iron out yourself, it's fine to start with. You learn voicings (which you often have to do, with this instrument) and you get good sounds out of it too. Not an orchestral instrument, but it's good enough for a small band or auditioning at Christmas. A cello generally makes an impression.

And now comes the reason for the four stars: the price!
You can really practice and play with it. And, even though it doesn't sound that great and you also have to do a lot of work with it, that's exactly why you learn to appreciate it. And, because it's a little harder to play, you learn to play a little "better", to try harder.

For the price, good.

Instrument good, unfortunately, immediately with the first transport the carrier is broken.

it looks perfect the strings are 13 mm too high in the bridge part as well as 2 mm too high in the other part. you have to buy the resin separately as it is not included in the set.
The good thing is that despite the manufacture of laminated wood,
the finish is pretty much perfect. The woods used are not good (the price says it all).
It's cheap, €239 with a discount, but then you have to invest in a luthier to fit the bridge and ropes.

I bought the cello because I really wanted one. The price has definitely lured me. When tensioning the strings, I immediately broke one but I may have behaved clumsily.

With new strings I was able to elicit a few good tones from the cello and I am satisfied.

I bought this cello in June. After the initial euphoria, however, came quickly the disillusionment. The sound is very poor, metallic and no clean tone can be elicited even for a skilled cellist. Even a visit to the luthier could not help the cello and the devastating verdict was: buy a new one because of poor quality. Even for beginners, this cello is not suitable in my opinion, because as already mentioned, no clean tone can be produced and the strings are also very difficult to respond to. My conclusion: even for this money it is not worth buying the cello.

Everything that should arrive has also arrived relatively quickly.
About sound quality I can not allow myself as a complete beginner no judgment.

The cello makes a very good impression. It is well built and looks chic. Am not a connoisseur of cellos, but find that you can start very well as a layman.

Unfortunately, the pegs to adjust the strings are not so good. I have spent hours to tune the strings, because when tuning the pegs slipped out again and again.

All in all, I am very satisfied and would buy it again anytime.

People really take a little more money in hand. The cello is really like cardboard, sounds tinny and rattles. In addition, it is really not beautifully finished. It looks completely different than the picture, it's orange brown and shiny instead of dark brown and matte. It also came with a serious quality defect, namely the fingerboard was not round, but angular - does not work at all. Am really not satisfied and send it back.

The cello arrived quickly and without any problems. We are satisfied so far. The only drawback. The bridge on which the sides rest has predetermined grooves. Unfortunately, the cello teacher complained about this and asked for it to be replaced. He sent us to a violin maker in the area..... costs a lot of money. I could have spent that on a better cello. Too bad.
