It took me about 14 days to find the right piano sound and velocity for me. After trying out almost all the options, I was able to decide on a good piano sound. Instead of the many demo songs, I would have liked to have more options to save my own songs on the device, just without a PC.

After a year of intensive use of a Yamaha P-125 (so slowly, unfortunately, the keyboard began to 'rattle'... "laugh!") I have finally - also due to numerous experiences and videos on the net - now decided for CASIO.
About the Privia PX-S 1000:
Very valuable and optically very noble electric piano!
The keyboard stands out positively alone - for me personally - by the structured surface, the quiet touch and not least by a very pleasant playability in contrast to rather sensitive and somewhat cheap-looking "plastic keys" in articles of other manufacturers!
To avoid fingerprints on the upper plastic "glossy bar" (except power button and volume control), the device can be controlled very comfortably via Chordana app on the Ipad. Should a "protective film" - similar to the smartphone - be offered for this control bar, I would probably not be the only one who would welcome it.
Since I miss now but a little the previously accustomed automatic accompaniment, I will probably again "upgrade" to the Privia PX-S 3000. For an estimated 98% of users who want to enjoy pure piano sound with a 192 polyphony for home use, I can really highly recommend this Casio Privia PX-S 1000!

I have never played with a piano before. From the recommendations of my acquaintances, I came across this model. It is wonderful for beginners and beautiful.

I got this electric piano to complement my acoustic piano.

Since practicing with an acoustic piano in a rented apartment in a multi-family house can be quite problematic, I'm actually also like to be for myself and mostly want to play in the evening, had to get a solution that both protects the hearing of my neighbors, but also allows me a good playing feel to implement the learned then final on the acoustic piano.

After much research, I decided on the Casio PX-S1000.

I have not regretted the purchase.

On the one hand, it looks very chic with its minimalist design.
On the other hand, it has also really what on it for this price.
The keyboard feels very good with its special surface.
The keystroke does not come close to my acoustic piano, but still gives a good feedback. It is pleasant to play and also the acoustics of the sampled grand piano is good.

The built-in speakers, well what can you expect...., they'll do, but aren't a solution for me. With a good headphone or over the home stereo system it makes more fun.

I especially like the possibility to control the piano via the Cordana Play App with my Ipad.
The operation by means of the built-in touch buttons in combination with the keyboard turns out to be quite a challenge.

I can recommend the piano without exception.

This digital piano is just fun to play! The sound is really great and you can't stop playing it!

Top to be able to play a little when no extra space for a piano is there and you are only tenants and must take into account uuund still so mega handy transportable if you have to move... the sound (via headphones) top, via speakers also good and keyboard also really good - the price for it is unbeatable!

It is a very nice high quality digital piano. Which has a great sound and some features, which I have not yet tried.

Casio PX-S1000 dynamic is perfect. Keys are not perfect but very good (little too light, somewhat noisy on key up and on finger touch to the key surface). Fast delivery.

- Delivery came by express; piano was well packaged and arrived well with us.

First of all: I'm 40+, re-entry, had classical piano lessons in my school days and so far already two different acoustic pianos and 20 years ago already once a CN digital piano from Kawai. Currently I (still) have a high-quality acoustic piano, which I use for hobby purposes as a balance from everyday life, for relaxation and enjoyment.

The instrument was purchased from Casio as a mobile second instrument for evening play and to possibly replace my current piano later, we'll see :-)

The discussion "only acoustic" is the "real thing", well, I can't quite share that. Yes, a vibrating string is a vibrating string, but it just always depends on your own needs and this much I can already reveal, the sound of this instrument has me - although I'm used to acoustic - thrilled from the start.

I think the instrument is very suitable for children and adults who want to start playing the piano, because the clean user interface is not distracting or tempting to play around. On the other hand, you can customize a few features via key combination or app if needed.

- The keyboard feels very pleasant, a little different than the acoustic version, but still so that I warmed up to it within minutes. Nice that you can adjust the touch a bit; the basic setting is a bit light, but absolutely within reason (for example, for children); I adjusted it a bit firmer for me, but a matter of taste. My Kawai at the time

- The sound (Grand Piano) is beautiful, both without and with headphones; the Bright and Mellow sounds are also included, as well as others that I will probably use less. I like the clear sound.
While my 130 cm piano thunders me away with its basses and partly hurts my ears in the meantime (since a change of apartment), this one is just for children's rooms, bedrooms or "normal-sized" living rooms (I'm talking about about 20-30 square meters) very well suited - rest for my ears :-) The volume is absolutely more than sufficient for the mentioned premises.

- The design was crucial to try it with Casio, because it must also appeal to me visually.... This is very successful here! The fear that the sounds might sound too artificial has not been confirmed....
With the other instruments I feel the workmanship rather clumsy and to me the optics seemed almost as "bland" as 20 years ago... compared to this slim case. At 11kg, it's also quick to move in and out of the way.
The pedal is not the hit, but sufficient for the beginning and the sound effects as well (reverb, etc.) Even our teenager, who has nothing to do with instruments, found the sounds and tones so nice that is now even dabbled in it.

Conclusion: a family-friendly instrument that invites you to make music. If I consider that 20 years ago I paid almost DM 2000,- for my CN Kawai Digi and here under 600,- then the Privia is optically as well as technically a clear increase to that time, what one gets for the money.

Clear buy recommendation in this price range for piano players and those who want to be.
