Improvements in Detail

Thanks to the CY headjoint made of sterling silver, the instrument delivers an especially easy response and a warm, full tone across all registers. The design of the ring keys has been completely revised. This results in better ergonomics and a more comfortable playing feel compared with older models like the previous YFL-372. Parts of the mechanism have been equipped with a pointed cap mechanism to distribute the contact pressure evenly and to optimize the airflow inside the instrument. The pads under the keys are slightly firmer, which ensures a better seal with less force and greater resonance, especially in the lower registers. The headjoint of the YFL-372 flute is made of sterling silver and helps beginners produce a strong, full tone.
