Improvements in Detail

Thanks to the CY headjoint made of sterling silver, the instrument has an especially easy response and a warm, full sound across all registers. The design of the ring keys has been completely reworked, providing better ergonomics and a more comfortable playing feel compared with older models such as the YFL-312. Parts of the mechanism were fitted with a pointed key-cup mechanism to distribute pad pressure evenly and to optimize the internal air flow of the instrument. The pads under the keys are slightly firmer, resulting in better coverage with less force and higher resonance, especially in the low registers. The headjoint of the YFL-312 flute is made of sterling silver and helps beginners produce a powerful, full tone.

Advanced players also benefit from the easy response across all registers. The flexible tone of the Yamaha YFL-312 allows each player wide musical expression.
