Improvements in Detail

Thanks to the silver-plated CY headjoint with a solid silver mouthplate, the instrument offers especially easy response and a warm, full sound across all registers. The key design has been completely revised, providing better ergonomics and a more comfortable playing feel compared to older models like the YFL-211. Parts of the mechanism feature a Spitzdeckel mechanism to evenly distribute key pressure and optimize airflow inside the instrument.

The pads under the keys are slightly firmer, ensuring better coverage with less effort and higher resonance, especially in the lower registers. The headjoint of the YFL-212SL flute is made of nickel silver and supports beginners in producing a strong, full sound.
